Opened my new bottle and the new sickly sweet smell made me gag! I have been buying Palmolive my whole life and for my professional kitchen for years and I believe that I am finished using it if they keep this scent. Why change something that isn't broken?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dish soap is great in cleaning all the grease. Surprisingly, it didn't dry my hands even I used it to clean with my bare hands. The strong scent made me enjoy the cleaning time. This dish soap is comparable with any other brands, the only reason I gave it 4 stars because not only this product but other product of Palmolive, after some time of usage, the soap is always stuck into the cap of it which I don't like about. But overall it is a great dish soap!

Did Palmolive discontinue their original green dish soap, if yes, why? Can't find any green Palmolive dish soap in the stores anymore. Have to order online, pay for shipping and it's inconvenient. Why? Used it for years. Then got a skin sensitivity and was the only one I could use without problems. Was perfect the way it was. Tough on grease, gentle on skin with a gentle, pleasant fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Palmolive for years. It's always effective and cleans well. This variety has the right amount of suds, and cuts through grease well. I like that there are no parabens or phosphates, the soap is biodegradable, and the bottle is made with recycled plastic. It would be a better product if it was fragrance-free or made with natural fragrance.

Hate the new smell of the "improved formula". I always buy this soap in bulk cause it works well and doesn't(well it didn't used to) leave a smell while using it and after. Now the new one while using it the whole area smells and everything even after rinsing with super hot and a ton of water it still smells. And the smell isn't even good, my house hold smelled it and no one is sure what the scent was even supposed to be. Really sad since I really loved this soap because of its strength and lack of strong odor. Bring back old formula smell, it was may more tone down than this new formula

I'm so sad the scent has changed. I've used Palmolive my entire life and have been loyal to this brand. Prefer to use it in all rooms of the house, even bathroom as I don't like the feel or scent of other soaps. Please bring back the original scent! I find the new scent to be overly perfumed with an unnatural odor (chemical odor). I will no longer be purchasing Palmolive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Palmolive. It smells great and it gets my dishes clean on the first go around. Suds up perfectly. I even used it to wash my car and it tackled the squished bugs like a pro. It doesn't dry out my hands like some of the other cleaners. Because of how it lathers up, I can use much less than I expected to.

Wow. Enough of an issue to bring forth. A small gathering for a baby shower revealed an overwhelming response to the most recent replacement of Palmolive's original "Softens hands while you do dishes " Scent. The topic of discussion came about as a family member who was helping out in with dishes pointed out the different/unpleasant smell of our Palmolive . This caused our bottle of dish soap to be passed around our crowd to confirm that our noses had not deceived us. Unfortunately- a unanimous thumbs down. I also made mention that the original Aloe scent is now shared with citrus... But why ?? We asked... please give us back our original scent at least. Too many years of greatness replaced for an unknown reason. It wasn't broke- why try to fix it?? If all 9 of us agreed, imagine the millions of people whom we stand on behalf of. I picked up a bottle of Palmolive and with the first use realized something was not right. It smells horrible definitely did not smell like Palmolive then noticed it was a new formula. It's incredibly harsh on my hands and unfortunately not nearly as effective as the old formula. It went straight in the garbage can. I've been picking up bottles of the original formula when I can find it. I'm not sure what I'll be changing to when my stockpile runs out.
