Just purchased a new refill jug after using the rest of our old one. We opened it up and were hit with this terrible scent. The scent permeated our entire kitchen and we ended up putting the jug on the balcony until we can return it. And the soap was more liquidy? Very strange. This isn't a nastolgia thing, it just smells awful.

I loved how only a little amount was enough to wash a whole bunch of dishes, and even our greasiest pan came out so clean you could literally see your face on the surface. I really liked that the foam washed off completely leaving behind only the cleanest surface. I loved it! Would definitely stock up on this wonder product!

Palmolive has been my dishsoap almost all my married life. 45 years. Always had the ability to clean well and keep the suds throughout. I do not have a dishwasher, so I know what I'm talking about! Lately I've noticed I have to use more to get same results. My guess is more water has been added to the bottle. Like I said, no dishwasher, I know of what I speak. Now we have"new formula"! It comes out in globs, doesn't break up, doesn't have the suds anymore. I hate washing dishes in water without obvious suds! C'mon Palmolive! Should we shop around for something better?

I specifically purchased the pure + clear Palmolive, because I wanted an unscented dish soap. Unfortunately this product is scented, and smells similar to dog shampoo. Nowhere on the packaging does it state that this product is scented. I specifically wanted unscented, because fragrances trigger migraines for me. Disappointed with the lack of labeling on this product.

I implore you to please bring back the original. I have literally been using it my entire life. One week, it was gone. A few weeks later my husband proudly brought home a bottle of green Palmolive and I was relieved...until I opened it. What is this atrocity? It's AWFUL. The smell is disgusting and the product is not improved. Please bring back the original. There is nothing that can replace the original that we all loved your company for. Just bring it back, please!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washes grease and stuck on food easily without drying out my hands. Even stuck on food and pots scrub easily. Light clean scent isn’t overpowering. A little goes a long way. I’d recommend this dish soap.

Wow. Enough of an issue to bring forth. A small gathering for a baby shower revealed an overwhelming response to the most recent replacement of Palmolive's original "Softens hands while you do dishes " Scent. The topic of discussion came about as a family member who was helping out in with dishes pointed out the different/unpleasant smell of our Palmolive . This caused our bottle of dish soap to be passed around our crowd to confirm that our noses had not deceived us. Unfortunately- a unanimous thumbs down. I also made mention that the original Aloe scent is now shared with citrus... But why ?? We asked... please give us back our original scent at least. Too many years of greatness replaced for an unknown reason. It wasn't broke- why try to fix it?? If all 9 of us agreed, imagine the millions of people whom we stand on behalf of. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Palmolive. It smells great and it gets my dishes clean on the first go around. Suds up perfectly. I even used it to wash my car and it tackled the squished bugs like a pro. It doesn't dry out my hands like some of the other cleaners. Because of how it lathers up, I can use much less than I expected to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy to get a chance to compare this Palmolive Ultra to the current original Palmolive I was using. I did a comparison test using the same oil and plastic container with each of these and was so impressed with the Ultra. Definitely cuts grease! The only way this could get better is if was even more concentrated to last even longer which would reduce plastic use and get a super sudsy dish wash!

I purchased a bottle as well as a replacement jug of soap. This was the newly 200% degreaser. I am truly disappointed with this new product. The first time I used it the new smell was overwhelmingly chemical and it dried out and burnt my skin. It hasn’t recovered since yesterday. This new formula is far too caustic for every day household use. I for one will no longer be purchasing this product from Palmolive for this reason. I also find it hugely inconvenient to use the product in a household as it’s so caustic you need to to wear gouges every time you wash a dish which is highly inconvenient. I liked the previous formula. It really cleaned my kitchen well, wasn’t hard on my hands and I could wash a quick dish. Not the case with the new formula. It stinks! Whoever came up and approved it didn’t really understand his folks do dishes. Not all of us use dishwashers. As a matter of fact many don’t. My family has used Palmolive products for over 60 years and I will have to hunt for a different product. Shame on this company.
