Great cooler. It keeps food cold for a very long time. If you put frozen food into it, it will stay frozen for a few days. It seals well also. Great price at Sam's Club, too.

We purchased this cooler to transport frozen food in to our winter place in Florida. We live in Illinois we packed the cooler solid with frozen food travel all the way from Illinois to Florida I had the food in the car for 36 hour and it was still completely frozen when we arrived. Very happy with this coolers performance.

This was an odd purchase as I knew it was a great cooler but I had a large catering event 2 hours away and was scrambling to find something big enough to transport hot food... It worked better than expected. All the food stayed piping hot as I placed it in right out of the oven protecting the cooler with towels. Was able to transfer directly into Chafing dishes.

WILL NOT KEEP ICE FOR A DAY, should be the real title on this cooler. I saw the ice keeping ability and was sold, but after using it on our 7 days at the lake, I wished I would have gotten something else. We pre-chilled and kept it in the shade the whole time while at the lake. We put 100 pounds of ice inside and it was all gone the next day. I would like to give it a negative 5 but that's not an option.

I acquired this to utilize as a redneck air conditioner. Upon its initial use, it performed exceedingly well with ice stored for 15 hours during the night time when I turned on the AC and it kept the ice throughout the night, running for 8 hours. If you are familiar with redneck coolers, then you would understand that there are holes drilled into them, which allows air to circulate through it to transfer air towards the ice at the blower. However, I can only imagine how long it would maintain the ice temperature when utilized.

We have 4 of these MaxCold Coolers for our business. They keep our bottled drinks ice cold for Days not just hours! We add ice to them at the end of hot summer days so they are ready for a business next day. Also will hold just our ice with little melting on those 85-90 degree days.

Big cooler but can't handle the load. I put a case of yuengling, a case of water, and a twelve pack of soda in it. Two large bags of ice and as soon as I lifted the handle it separated the side peice from the lid to where now it doesn't stay shut. Very dissatisfied with it.

I purchase this cooler for a trip to Az, while there I purchased numerous bags of frozen catfish. I placed them in this cooler, put four 3lb bags of ice, at 5:00 am. I drove for 12 hours plus, to get home. 90 percent of the ice was in tact, great cooler, full disclosure, it was much bigger than I needed…Lol

Cooler provides excellent insulation to keep items cool for an extended amount of time. Cooler is quite large abd has no wheels-so the unit needs to be placed in the location that is intended for use as moving it after filling is quite the challengs. A set of robust wheels on one end would make this unit much better.

I purchased this for my yard cooler. I put ice in it for a barbecue on a day that it was 87 degrees. I still had ice 3 days later. The size was perfect. Six cases of can drinks and 40 water bottles fit (with room to spare) so I didn't have to refill it. Cleaning it was easy, all the dirt and hand prints washed off with a little dish soap and water.
