Hersheys syrup

Hersheys syrup says 24oz but it only contains 16oz!! Had to measure for a recipe.

reply from Consumer Relations

Hi, Maggie. Thanks for reaching out about HERSHEY'S Chocolate Syrup. We apologize for the confusion. The Food and Drug Administration guidelines require manufacturers to print the net weight, not volume, on our containers. The syrup in 24-ounce bottle weighs 24 ounces. However, it measures 16 fluid ounces or approximately 2 cups by volume. Net weight is not the same as volume.

Chocolate FLAVOR for a reason

Just doesn't taste good. Often have an itchy scratchy sore throat after. Avoid.

The shape of the bottle sucks. Where is this going to fit in the refrigerator.
