Hersheys syrup

Hersheys syrup says 24oz but it only contains 16oz!! Had to measure for a recipe.

Hi, Maggie. Thanks for reaching out about HERSHEY'S Chocolate Syrup. We apologize for the confusion. The Food and Drug Administration guidelines require manufacturers to print the net weight, not volume, on our containers. The syrup in 24-ounce bottle weighs 24 ounces. However, it measures 16 fluid ounces or approximately 2 cups by volume. Net weight is not the same as volume.
