I haven't used it yet, but I couldn't pass up the deal. I would have preferred a Yellow or Orange jacket, but again, for the price this Cord is Excellent. Based on the fact that it is 3 wire 12 Gauge it should serve me well. Are there better cords? Yes! But, go check out the prices for a better cord. Go check out the prices for a cord just like this one; two to three times the price, even for a 50 foot cord.

I have used these extension cords at my previous work before, so I wasn’t going in blind when I made the purchase. One thing I can say is this, you will not be disappointed with this extension cord. It has proved me time and again to be a well designed and though out product. Pros: very durable, has the lighted ends so you know there is power running through the cord. The length is appropriate for a lot of jobs. Not too short, yet it’s not too long either. Cons: it is kinda heavy. You do have 100’ so it’s expected to be a little heavy. The durability and the length contribute to that. That is pretty much the only negative thing I have to say. I want to tell you just how durable this cord is. I was using a small electric tiller, (cultivator), and I took my eyes off the location of the cord when all of the sudden the cord was wrapped up in the times of the tiller! After I unplugged and unraveled the cord, I noticed not even a scratch or cut was made in the cord. I was lucky, but at the same time, glad I invested in a well built cord. From this point on, Yellow Jacket is the only cords I’ll buy. Very, very excellent product. I would definitely recommend this to friends, family and anybody who needs a great extension cord.

I’ve had a 50’ just like it for several years that I purchased from another store. I paid more for it on sale than this 100’ cord. It’s such a great value that I plan to make some smaller cords out of this one that will replace my short 16ga extension cords I use around the shop.

This is the best price I've found for a 12-gauge heavy-duty 100 ft. extension cord. Don't let the color throw you off; even though it's not yellow it is 12 gauge. I would have preferred yellow, just for the quick reference, but for the price I can live with it. The lighted ends are a bonus; not a big deal but does let you know if it's plugged in if far from the source. Highly recommend!
