Ophthalmologist said I'm getting signs of wet amd. I've been taking Areds 2 for several years. I don't know what the signs would be without Areds2. This price per pill is MUCH cheaper . I must take the AREDS 2, until something better occurs. There are no obvious negative impacts of taking it other than the above. So, I'm trusting the advertised statements of benefits.

I tried a lesser brand and thought they helped my eyesight due to migraines and eye stress. Ran out and decided to try these. I use them mainly as preventative. Went to my eye doctor and asked about them for myself and 80+Year old parents who were all there for exams. He said unnecessary and over priced unless you have some very serious condition. I would suggest that you ask your doctor before spending all this money for something you may not need or could cover with another brand. I will use them up and then switch back to my regular eye vitamin.

Fantastic stuff, much needed for my eye care, however, after I purchased it and took it home, the same day I was going thru a Sam’s Club flyer, found this item to be going on sale the next day. Calls made to Sam’s Club and our Sam’s Club credit card company got me no where and I was stuck with the price I purchased it for. FYI, I am a 81 year old Senior on a fixed income and any kind of savings goes a long way in our budget. Other than that, great item.

I have been taking PreserVision eye vitamins for years and they are expensive. This time I bought from Walmart and got the best price ever. I will be ordering online from Walmart now. Also, shipping was promised in 2 weeks. I had them in a week. Thank you Walmart. Beverly

These B+L PreserVision Areds 2 soft gels were recommended by our Ophthalmologist, so that speaks to the quality and efficacy of the pills. As far as the price, Sam's Club was the lest expensive that I found, after searching everywhere online, including the Big A. As long as the price remains the best, we'll be regular customers.

I bought these for my mother based on the recommendation of her eye doctor as she has macular degeneration. She must take two per day so these will last her just over 3 months. The price I paid was better than the price at another store with BOGO 50% off for fewer pills.

I was diagnosed with AMD in 2006. My doctor said that his mother had the same thing and he had prescribed Preservision for her and recommend it for me as well. It doesn’t cure my AMD but seems to slow it. I don’t know. My disease has slowly progressed. I have new doctor since then. She has also recommended Preservision. So all I can do is to trust my doctors and take my 2 capsules religiously severe day.
