I had Vicks Vapor Rub and woke up in the middle of the night with congestion and a cough. Applied the Vapor Rub and within minutes was able to breath more clearly and the cough began to dissipate. Excellent product.

My mom used this on me as a child when I had a cold. And now I'm almost 80 and I still use it. Really helps get rid of a cough and helps me sleep. It does not, however, seem as strong as it did way back when. I was thrilled to see that Sam's had the larger bottles at a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using Vicks vaporub topical cough suppressant for a couple days every night due to muscle aches on my neck and shoulders, I apply a quarter size of Vicks and rub in well until it absorbs. I like the Menthol scent and thick and clear like petroleum consistency that makes it easy apply on my chest to help me sleep well at night because, I have a stuffy nose. I take a warm towel and wrap around my neck with the Vicks applied on my chest and neck and this helps me rest at night by soothing and helping me breath well.

I also like to put a little on my lip under my nose with what's left on my hand after wiping my chest because it smells so good. This product is as reliable for me as it was for my grandmother.
