Great wound care

Neosporin is scent free, easy to open and decently priced. I always find it helps with scrapes and cuts to heal with less trauma and less scarring.

The value per dollar for this because it gives results! The packaging is sleek so you can travel with it. No scent and texture is thick and smooth!

Good Product, but as with any antibiotic ointment, read warnings, use sparingly

I should point out that one of the "inactive" ingredients - Hydrogen Peroxide - should be considered an active ingredient. And probably plays a role in its relatively quick action at reducing signs of infection (Hydrogen Peroxide is what I us to clean any scrape or mild cut if it shows signs of strep). It would be helpful for those with eyesight issues to have the entire package labeling on this page (since it is so insanely small on the product itself). I use Neosporin ONLY on scrapes and cuts that are having issues healing on their own (usually caused by mild infections). As overuse of ANY antibiotic product could produce resistant bacteria. Overall it is a very effective product when used properly.

WONDERFUL PRODUCT

I have used Neosporin for so many years I can't remember using any other kind of ointment. My children and grandchildren look at Neosporin as a cure all. Sometimes children won't let you put medicine on them because they think it will hurt but when my grandchildren get a minor scrape or scratch they ask for the Neosporin and a bandaid. My firstaid kit always has Neosporin in it. WONDERFUL PRODUCT.

0.5 Oz is useless

I wish I’d read these reviews first, before purchasing this 0.5 tube. There’s no way to open it. I’ve tried using one of those rubber grip pads that will open anything and even that won’t budge it. The reviews complaint about this small tube are from years ago and nothing has been done to fix the problem? Returning. Very irritated.

Why I like Neosporin

I've used Neosporin for years while raising my three kids. I always felt better having it on hand for the cuts and scrapes that always happen. I noticed it did help to heal the cuts faster and none of the usual burning so the kids didn't mind it so much. Still keep it on hand for the grand kids now.

Helps prevent infection

Neosporin Ointment is a must-have for minor cuts, scrapes, and burns, helping to prevent infection and speed up healing. Its triple antibiotic formula—bacitracin, neomycin, and polymyxin B—works together to fight bacteria and reduce the risk of complications. The ointment also creates a protective barrier, keeping wounds moisturized and promoting faster recovery with minimal scarring. It’s great to have on hand in a first-aid kit, travel bag, or medicine cabinet, especially if you’re prone to small injuries or have kids who are always on the go. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t sting like some antiseptics, making it a more comfortable option. While effective, it’s best for short-term use, as prolonged application can lead to antibiotic resistance or skin irritation. If a wound doesn’t show signs of improvement after a few days, it’s worth checking in with a doctor.

Essential in all homes and first aid kits!

This is essential in any first aid kit, vehicle, rv, traveling, anywhere. Especially with kids that always getting scrapes and scratches from minor injuries. I also used Neosporin on my daughter’s ears when they were pierced, helped avoid infection big time! There is no fragrance in this, however, be careful when using because it is an antibiotic and can cause allergic reaction to people sensitive to certain antibiotics.
