We have been a family user of Neosporin for years. I have noticed during the past year the small top/cap is very tight, this latest tube has the top on so tight that the tube is being destroyed trying to open it. Any ideas or should I bin it and change products

This is essential in any first aid kit, vehicle, rv, traveling, anywhere. Especially with kids that always getting scrapes and scratches from minor injuries. I also used Neosporin on my daughter's ears when they were pierced, helped avoid infection big time! There is no fragrance in this, however, be careful when using because it is an antibiotic and can cause allergic reaction to people sensitive to certain antibiotics.

I recieved a major burn on my calf that left a very large, dark scar. Two years later I burnt the exact same area again (muffler on motorcycle). The second burn was much worse. I continually used neosporin on it the second time while it was healing. Afterwards, there was no trace of a scar from either incident.

I forgot and bought Neosporin, as I forgot I literally need pliers to open it. I didn’t have any so I had to cut bottom off of tube. Seeing all these past comments it doesn’t seem like you’re going to fix that problem. The ointment itself is great. But if you can’t open it What’s the point of buying it.

The cuticles around one of my thumbs gets infected frequently. I forgot I had Neosporin the other times I've had the infection. When I my tube, I tried on my thumb which had be hurting. I had been in pain for over a week before using the Neosporin. Within a couple of says of using it, the pain was almost gone and the thumb was noticeably improving. I wish I had remembered I that this the previous two times my thumb got infected.

Echoing other reviews, the cap design is terrible such that it is incredibly difficult to uncap the tube and access the product. Myself and two other people found it impossible to open the cap before a fourth person finally managed to get it open. The cap was attached so tightly that a good chunk of skin peeled off my finger from the friction while I tried to unscrew it.

I love neosporin. I'm a mom so it's used often whenever there's cuts and scrapes for my son. I also love to cook and it's a must have whenever I burn myself. It's cheap and comes with a lot of product. I've been using 1 regular sized tube all yeah and still have plenty.
