I was using the regular listerine mouth wash. My dentist told me to switch to the total care because it has fluoride in it. I live in the country and have well water. I have been very happy with the results. I like the total care much better. I have gotten great check-ups at the dentist office.

I have been using Listerine all my life. I started using the Total Care Listerine Zero Alcohol yesterday and I was alarmed. At first the product was good. My mouth felt fresh and clean without the burning sensation. But about 30 minutes later, my mouth started to feel really dry and my gums felt like they had a weird film on them. As the day went on, I noticed that the skin inside my mouth was shedding. I also developed a bump on my gum that was not there until after the second rinse last night. I tried the mouthwash again this morning, and the dry mouth and chalky feeling returned. I will definitely be going back to another mouthwash. This one is definitely not for me.

We've been using this listerine lately (tbh I don't know why, my bf brought it home one day and how I always but the “purple one”). It's super strong and will burn your tongue if you don't swish but it works great. You feel so fresh and clean after like you literally killed everything bad in your mouth. 20 seconds of pain for all the gain! Love a fresh mouth.

I have been using this Listerine product since it hit the market and I love it. You have to build up to the amount and length of time. I rinse for 60 seconds but could easily extend it without any burning. I actually find it quite mild now that I am used to it. I use it just before going to bed and my mouth still feels fresh in the morning. I never wake up with "yucky mouth" since I use this product. My dentist has seen great improvement in my teeth and gums. Wouldn't be without this product.

Im not a fan of listerine, but this one I can tolerate! It leaves my mouth and breath feeling to fresh and clean. I haven't looked into the ingredientes at all though, but would still recommend if you want something effective and easy to get as this is usually available at every store.

So I bought two bottles. EVERY time I tried to open the first bottle, I struggled. Sometimes it opened; sometimes I gave up before it did. The product was fine, recommended by my dental hygienist, but what good is it if you can't open it? This has NEVER happened with any product I've ever used; it's a first. My second bottle has been under the sink for nearly a year unopened. Tonight I pulled it out and just stared at it. I'm going to give it away. Listerine, you lost me and for a bad reason. I "get" that you don't want kids to open the bottles and drink the stuff, but I think you want people to use your product. I'm thinking about people who are older than I but whose hands don't work so well and even those with arthritis in their hands. This product, as it's bottled, would never NEVER serve them. I hope you take my advice and find a bottle that works for everyone.

I bought 'ZERO ALCOHOL' by mistake and regret it. I'm a repeat user of regular 'TOTAL CARE' and I think it's a great product. The Z/A turns into foam after about 10 seconds of swishing and I found then that I couldn't gargle because of the foam You can't gargle with foam!!! I don't know if it was a bad batch or the foaming action is normal. Anyway, I won't buy it again.

It does at time leave a white residue after using.,but most of the newer all purpose products do the same . At timeses it doest burn, but. nomore than the original. One flaunt is the flame names are not representative of actual tast., used cool mint it was more like menthal.
