I had a horrible rash on my chest was not responding to any treatment. Researching Homeopathic remedies, I came across reference to original Listerine, and I immediately went to the store and bought a bottle. It took one application to convince me Listerine is a wonder product! Dabbing a small amount on the affected area 3 x daily and in 1 day the rash was almost gone. I will never, ever be without this product again!

I was raised to always use Listerine, because I was so young at the time I didn't know of the benefits or the goodness of this product but I always remembered my father's smile and how White his teeth stayed till the day he passed away, well needless to say now I possess that same smile with white teeth healthy gum's and fresh breath but not only I but my brothers and sister's this product remains in all our bathroom's and as with us it will be passed on to our kids, when it comes to mouthwash there is none better Listerine a name and brand to be trusted through generation to come.

I use this product often for several reasons. One is to ensure my teeth stay as clean as possibe after brushing. Another reason is to kill germs which may make me sick. A third reason is to prevent bad breath. Finally, to minimize plaque and tartar build up.

In the early 1980,s we move to Galesburg Ks.qnd I went to work for Bushog. I met the maintenance man and we talked a lot about work the plant and how thing were going. He is the one that got me interested in Listerine. back then there was only one kind of Listerine the original which I have use ever sense. A few years later you come out with the blue one I ask my dentist about it and he said that it was like they put something in it that made it not as good as it was originally, So that was good enough for me and I don't use anything else. I'm not perfect so I have accidentally picked up a different kind whence. I enjoy using the one with alcohol it makes my mouth feel better. a

I am a retired dental field employee of about 37 years. I know a thing or two about dental hygiene and healthy gums. Most people don't understand the importance of keeping your gums maintained and clean. That is where Listerine comes in. I use the original as a mouthwash and at night I add Listerine to my Hydrofloss to flush out any remaining debris that brushing and flossing might miss. Now, my mouth feels really clean and fresh! I know that I have done everything I can do to keep a healthy mouth. Of course, my dentist made my smile beautiful!!

There is nothing more fresh than having clean breath. No sweet or minty aftertaste; just a clean fresh mouth before you start your day. It does take some time to get use to because it is not a mild mouthwash; but a strong wash that packs a punch to kill the germs, plaque & halitosis in your mouth. Perhaps you never get use to it! Just remember, It will leave your mouth feeling clean, kills the germs and will definitely wake you up in the morning

I used Listerine Original when I was young and I really didn't like it. I always used a minty mouthwash. I have gotten older and take a lot of medications and my mouth always tasted funky - actually like moth balls sometimes. I decided to try the Listerine Original again and was so pleasantly surprised! I loved the burn in my mouth. It felt as if it was disinfecting all through my mouth. When I was done using it my mouth felt fresher and cleaner than it had in years. This is all I use now and won't ever go back. The other mouthwashes are just cover ups. Listerine is a true cleaning disinfecting mouthwash.

I have been having problems with bad breath for some years off and on for a while. I had been trying everything, even got antibiotic mouthwash from a dental office. That did not help. I thought about that yellow listerine. I used to see the older generation with it and I said I’m going to try it. People, it was the best advice I’ve offered myself in months. It worked magic for me. Our family uses the original Listerine and are concerned because it has been harder to find in the stores.Are you discontinuing this product? I have been using this product for many years and would be greatly disappointed should you stop producing the original Listerine Sincerely, J.Mario Bianco

If you've read the literature you know that this product has been proven to be effective. If you haven't, it's out there and readily available - I recommend going through it to bust any doubts. This applies to all products originating from the original Listerine. Aside from effectiveness, which all the products have, the original is somewhat unique. It maintains the same burn and signature taste which in your mouth, but unline the other Listerines floating around (Cool Mint, for example# once the rinse is done your mouth isn't overwhelmed by the taste of lingering mint. It's truly nice. This product keeps your mouth at neutral rather pushing it to mint. With that being said, with the original there may be some lingering burning in your mouth for about 5 minutes after use. I personally enjoy it, but you may not. Overall great product. Does what it advertises, gives me a great burn and rough taste #which I love) and keeps my breath good enough to work in retail and after 5 hours of work be able to speak to a person face-to-face without fear of funky looks.
