About 40 years ago, I was told I had a periodontal disease. I was being discharged from the Navy and the USN Captain said they couldn't do anything about it then as I didn't have enough time. So I found a Dentist and had a deep gum cleaning. I was told I needed to take good care of my teeth or I could lose them. My pockets were deep. So I started a daily use of complete brushing and Listerene. ( The old stuff ). During the years I would have times when I would get an infection and started a process of using a pressure teeth system, hot water, and a good portion of Listerene. After one or two times the infection went away. I continued to use this process over the years. I am 74 years old and have lost no teeth and have saved a lot of money on no Dentist visits due to infections. Thanks Listerene!

In order to fully test the product, I followed up my twice daily brushings with a Listerine mouth rinse. I thought that I was getting m y mouth clean before but since I have begun using Listerine twice a day after regular brushings, I must say, that my mouth and gums feel cleaner longer. Additionally, It gives me an extra feeling of confidence.

It has a cool like breezy feel when you take a breath in and it feels good on my mouth. It is not a over powering taste and not a high alcohol burn. Can't stand the one that burn me and refuse to use them. I am a high believer of using a mouthwash on a regular basis like 2X a day and i want it to be one that i like if i am using it that much. I know that fighting gum disease and plaque is very important for our oral health and i highly believe that Listerine knows what they are doing when it comes to this because they have been around longer than i have. Love it !

It also does not leave you feeling like you rinsed your mouth with just alcohol, you get a decent amount of minty aftertaste. Unlike most mouthwashes it is not really watery so a little goes a long way.
