Maybe there is an acceptable amount of 'cleaning burn' when using mouthwash that I am unaware of. I have never been a big mouthwash user, no particular reason - just never added it into my routine. However my husband is a mouthwash user and he was a fan of this Listerine cool mint. He preferred it over our current mouthwash (Cologate). I can't say I will become a dedicated mouthwash-er from this product alone, but I will make an effort to incorporate it into my nightly routine a couple times a week because I know its good for my oral health.

I have used this mouthwash every morning and night now for at least two weeks and I have noticed how my breath does seem fresher and it does make my teeth feel cleaner after brushing. I have not been to the dentist yet but in a few months I can't wait to see if they notice the difference. I like the taste of the cool mint, without it being too strong and making it so I can't gargle with it too long. I notice that after I use it I do spit out extra gunk I miss when brushing. Cool Mint Listerine is the absolute, only mouthwash that I use. Not only do I know that it's killing 99% of the germs that cause bad breath but it also, leaves my breath so fresh with a mintiness that lasts a long time! I am a retired Dental Assistant and I wouldn't trust my mouth to anything but Listerine.

I Loved the flavor, reduced tartar, my gums are no longer tender and it did keep my breath fresh Week One: Day one it hurt burning my gums and tongue. Each day the burn lessened, my gums felt better too. After 7 days I have definitely noticed my gums are no longer tender and flossing produces less debris. Week Two: The tiny line of tartar at my gum line has vanished and swishing 2-3 times a day makes my mouth feel wonderfully fresh. Week Three: My husband and I both notice fresher breath, clean tongues and healthier gums!
