Had dealt with sensitivity along the gum line for ages and this is what truly tamed it. I did get a degree of whitening from stains by soft drinks but I wouldn't say it was drastic. There's a level of brightness ya usually associate with teeth whiteners and I'd just opt for a professional whitening if I ever wanted that look. After a week of use I noticed a difference in my ability to withstand cold drinks brushing on my teeth and gum line.

My dentist recommended this toothpaste to me because she said I have sensitive teeth but as I was using this toothpaste I felt as if my teeth were becoming more sensitive. The one good thing about this toothpaste is it does whiten your teeth a lot but if you do not have extremely sensitive teeth I would not recommend this product

Love this tooth paste for my sensitive teeth and gums. Doesn’t irritate my teeth and gums and leaves my mouth minty fresh. Most sensitive toothpaste don’t leave that minty feeling like this one does. And it really does help keep your teeth whitened. I also don’t drink coffee or smoke though

My dentist told me to get this toothpaste. It is not too minty where I'm crying in the morning, but it isn't too not minty where I feel like my breath smells. This has helped with tooth sensitivity by a long shot, and it gently whitens. Recommend a lot

The feeling of this tooth paste in your mouth is OK. The aftertaste is chilling if you have a cold cup of water or anything else that’s why it’s for sensitive teeth usually leads to to decay or feeling the need to be fixed and teeth that’s why this toothpaste is good but literally it doesn’t fix tooth erosion problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Sensodyne Rapid Relief is a gift from Heaven! I used to have pain when eating ice cream, well, no more! This product really works and it does so in a hurry! In just a matter of days, the pain was lessened, a week in and ice cream and cold beverages are no longer a discomfort! I highly recommend this product for anyone that experiences tooth sensitivity.

I'm a loyal Sensodyne customer and decided to try a new one, "whitening, repair and protect." Bad decision - a terrible canker sore formed and it took me 5 days to figure out that was the cause thanks to a website noting that sodium lauryl sulfate causes canker sores. Sure, there are other causes, but my diet hasn't changed and I'm a healthy eater. So disappointing to find out it was my toothpaste intended for people with sensitive teeth/gums. This product needs to be reformulated without that ingredient or pulled from the market.

I’ve been using the rapid relief toothpaste for the past week. It does reduce tooth sensitivity, as it says it does. I have two extremely sensitive teeth on one side and often can't eat cold things on the left side. After using the toothpaste, the pain isn't nearly as bad as usual. The taste is fresh, but not too strong. I currently use Sensodyne toothpastes with great results, I will definitely buy this paste again, very pleased, and it has whitening in it so that makes it so worth it!

I was very surprised at how nice this toothpaste tasted. I assumed it would be unpleasant because it was for repairing sensitive teeth, but I truly liked it. My teeth were stronger using this toothpaste and I had almost no bleeding of my gums. It definitely does what it promises.
