My teeth immediately felt "just from the dentist" clean even though I am a heavy coffee consumer. It was gentle enough to not irritate my gums but effective in whitening and cleaning. I was at first worried that the "taste" would be less than appealing but was surprisingly shocked with it's minty flavor. Maximum strength with flouride is just as important so you aren't just getting a gentle, whitening clean but protection as well. I have just changed brand names, I'm sold on Sensodyne!!!!

I love love love this toothpaste! After having kids my teeth became more sensitive than usual and this is the only toothpaste that made my sensitivity subside. I always recommend this to people who complain about teeth pain. This and my Colgate Optic Renewal toothpaste are the best! I hope if you try this toothpaste, you love it as much as I do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for Sensodyne® Repair & Protect Whitening Toothpaste. I have been using this product for three weeks now. I notice as I've gotten older, my teeth have become more sensitive to cold stuff. After just a week of using Sensodyne, I barely get that painful sensation when I drink a cold glass of water! I was already sold. I am also a former smoker and an avid coffee/soda drinker, so I do have tinted teeth. But I looked at a picture from last week and my teeth are noticeably whiter and that's definitely a WIN!! I'm always all teeth when I smile so now I can worry less about whether people notice my less-than-pearly white teeth. I only gave this product 4 stars because of the taste. It leaves a weird, weird aftertaste. It's doesn't leave me feeling very minty and the taste becomes more prominent after eating/drinking something. It is tolerable but not something I like! Not a deal breaker. Also, I prefer pop-top type cover, this one you have to unscrew. Definitely not a big deal!! I just switched it out from an old toothpaste tube I had. It probably wouldn't bother most people.

Sensodyne toothpaste is by far the best for sensitive teeth and the repair, protect and whitening works fantastic on this former smokers stained teeth.  I discovered Sensodyne a few years ago when I began having sensitivity to hot and cold beverages and since then it is the only brand of toothpaste I use.

This is my favorite tooth paste. It’s one of the only ones that doesn’t leave me sensitive to cold after use, and I used to have that issue with other brands. The whitening aspect; I’m not sure how much it really whitens but the flavor is nice and not over powering!

I started using sensodyne when my dentist recommended I get a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. I won’t ever go back! It’s gentle on my sensitive teeth and also does a great job keeping them clean. I always get toothpaste with whitening too because I want my toothpaste to work for me! This works great.

I tried the Sensodyne Rapid Relief and noticed a difference after about three days of using it morning and night. By the end of the week I was sold. I didn't have nearly as much pain from hot/cold liquids, ice cream, etc. Great product.

I had very sensitive teeth after getting my fillings done. Felt like I couldn’t really drink anything or brush my teeth in peace until I gave this tooth paste a try. Works great. I no longer feel sensitivity and I can now brush my teeth with cold water .

I'm a regular sensodyne user for years, but tried this one and one day later my tongue is numb. A couple months ago I tried a different version(can't remember which) and my tongue and lips became numb and sore. I just finished the whitening one with no adverse reactions. Not sure which ingredient is responsible.
