This toothpaste is very chalky, it tastes pretty good but the texture does not feel good in your mouth. It is only slightly whitening. However, I did feel it helping my teeth in the strength area. If you have sensitive teeth, this really is the way to go.

I’ve had sensitive teeth for such a long time and I found that when I used this product my teeth would feel better for a week once I’ve stopped using it. During that time I would other toothpastes that I like. Then I would go back to using sensodyne after a week. So I basically use it once a week and it’s great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put it on my toothbrush. Nice texture, spreads onto the teeth like its actually covering them. That's great. Didn't feel like I was overly foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog. Ok great. After brushing, my mouth felt clean, but what I found most interesting was that my teeth felt so clean that they felt oddly enough like they had been buffed clean. Loved that. No leftover grittiness on my teeth, just really clean. Ok so here I am now, having used about the whole tube, I can say that it's a great toothpaste for cleaning teeth. I can't, however, confirm within a weeks time that there have been any extreme differences in whitening. Maybe it will happen with continuous use. The one thing that i truly did not care for but feel that I can at least tolerate is the mint flavored mothball taste of the paste. It does leave an odd aftertaste in the mouth as well, so have a decent mouthwash on hand. Even with that flavor, I have found that when I use it before bed, the level of morning breath was reduced more than any other toothpaste I have tried. Overall, I'm happy with it. There was nothing so drastically intolerable that I would consider leaving it on the shelf next go around.

Great toothpaste! Fresh flavor without being overwhelmingly minty.  I love that it's one product to whiten and addresses sensitivity.  I received this as a sample in my PopSugar box and have since purchased it to replace my previous brand of toothpaste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for Sensodyne® Repair & Protect Whitening Toothpaste. I have been using this product for three weeks now. I notice as I've gotten older, my teeth have become more sensitive to cold stuff. After just a week of using Sensodyne, I barely get that painful sensation when I drink a cold glass of water! I was already sold. I am also a former smoker and an avid coffee/soda drinker, so I do have tinted teeth. But I looked at a picture from last week and my teeth are noticeably whiter and that's definitely a WIN!! I'm always all teeth when I smile so now I can worry less about whether people notice my less-than-pearly white teeth. I only gave this product 4 stars because of the taste. It leaves a weird, weird aftertaste. It's doesn't leave me feeling very minty and the taste becomes more prominent after eating/drinking something. It is tolerable but not something I like! Not a deal breaker. Also, I prefer pop-top type cover, this one you have to unscrew. Definitely not a big deal!! I just switched it out from an old toothpaste tube I had. It probably wouldn't bother most people.

I found the that this toothpaste worked for about a week, then I started noticing that my teeth would just hurt and feel brittle after using it. I have tried several different kinds from this brand and ended up with the same result. Brittle feeling teeth.

I have INCREDIBLY sensitive teeth. My dentist recommended brushing with this product for two weeks and not rinsing immediately afterward. I then began whitening after the two week period and my pain, while not completely gone, did dissipate. I will definitely be doing this method again.

After using it my teeth no longer hurt like they used to. Also, this toothpaste leaves my mouth feeling extra fresh.

Years ago when I was at the dentist I would’ve sworn I had cavities...come to find out I just had sensitive teeth. My dentist gave me a sample of Sensodyne and it made such a huge difference on the sensitivity of my teeth. I’ll never buy another toothpaste!

I got this a few years back after watching a commercial. It looked promising so I bought it. (At the time, I thought I had sensitive teeth, but I do not). The taste was horrible and just for that reason, I didn’t buy it again. I would much prefer crest or Colgate toothpaste over this. If one has a big tooth sensitivity, I would give it a try to see if it works for you!
