I have successfully quit smoking using the Original 4 mg Nicorette. It has a unique texture and tastes like it means business. Unfortunately, that hasn't been duplicated in the generic versions of the nicotine gum. For some reason, the Original Nicorette isn't carried at any of the Sam's Clubs in my area. They do carry the flavored and sweet Nicorette, but if I wanted that, I would just buy regular chewing gum.

I wish I had never started using this gum! I smoked for 10 years then used this gum for 10 years! My hair was falling out, My teeth were cracking. Loss of taste. For me, it was one addiction to another and I'm still fighting it thousands and thousands of dollars later! These chemicals are just as addictive as cigarettes. I wish there had been more steps 4mg, 3mg, 2mg, 1mg? I don't know what would have worked but I know I am not the only person who has struggled.
