The Tums smoothies Berry fusion extra strength and acid chewables are my first choice and aunt acids. I find that they work quickly, are easy to chew, and work great! They are especially helpful when my heartburn flares up at night. They help keep it under control so I can sleep.

I normally get heartburn on a pretty regular basis, but I can't for the life of me give up hot sauce or any spicy food, so it is usually suffering all night after a big meal out. I will be honest, I was a bit skeptical because the last time I took an antacid was years ago an I hated the chalky flavor of it, I usually avoid it to no end. I was actually putting off using the TUMS but the smoothies flavor was tempting and it smelled great. As soon as I put it in my mouth, I was so pleasantly surprised. it did not taste chalky at all, instead it was smooth, had great flavor and honestly felt like I was eating a piece candy. And the best part is that it went to work almost right away, I started to feel it's effect within a few minutes and within 15 minutes my heartburn was almost gone. This is a fantastic product!

I spoke with a consumer healthcare rep at the Parent Company (GSK) who manufactures Tums. They have discontinued this product. So sad, because they worked so well. However, if you are missing these little gems, email GSK at consumer.communications@gsk.com and let them know you want them back!

We always keep a bottle of Tums in the medicine cabinet, but it had expired so I used the new bottle of Tums Smoothies. The important part is the quick relief from discomfort, which chewing two Tums provided. However, I noticed that they did not taste "chalky" and really did dissolve better than before. They have a nice flavor (I think it was cherry) and did not leave me with an unpleasant aftertaste. I will continue to use Tums Smoothies when I need an antacid and highly recommend them.

The Tums Peppermint Smoothies tasted great and worked so well for me. The fruit are disgusting, leaving me to try and get by with the regular peppermint Tums, which taste like chalk. I take them far less often and haven't ordered any more since they finally ran out, preferring to try and control my heartburn through diet, not eating late, pepcid AC and suffering. Bring the Mint Smoothies back, please!

Every time I get heartburn these are the first things I use. They work so quickly. The smoothies are way better than the original tums because they aren't as chalky as the normal ones. They have a couple different flavors too so that's good for all types of taste buds. 

My acid reflux is raging right now and these are keeping me as sane as possible. I've liked the smoothies version for a while now and always have them near my bed in case dinner decides to kick in. My husband and I are both so grateful for these and they taste delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TUMS Smoothies work quickly (< 1 min) and taste better than other calcium carbonate heartburn relief medicines. I get mild heartburn 3 to 4 times a week from citrus foods/drinks and calcium carbonate tablets are my go to medicine for quick relief. I chew two tablets within 5 to 30 minutes after symptoms appear and they work within seconds. Heartburn gone in less than 1 minute! I never have to take more than 2 at a time and my symptoms don't return that day. What makes TUMS Smoothies better than other calcium carbonate heartburn relief tablets? The flavor and texture. These are much easier to chew and swallow and the flavors are relatively good (for a heartburn medicine). They are not extremely chalky like others are either. I feel the need to include the following two disclaimers: 1. These do not work well at all in relieving heartburn related to pregnancy! I had to take up to 10 a day while pregnant and I still had heartburn! I wound up switching to a preventative medicine at the end of my second trimester, which did work. 2. If you are looking for a medicine to prevent heartburn, these are not for you. These tablets are a reactive medicine, not proactive. However, if you do not have a persistent heartburn problem these would be perfect! If you need immediate heartburn relief without the awful chalky texture and terrible flavor, pick up a bottle of TUMS Smoothies!!
