This stuff really helps. I found that I was having terrible heartburn and taking this once daily does help.

I've been on Nexium for many years, normally by prescription, and at a very high copay. Nexium 24 performs like my prescription meds, and saves me a lot if money. And without a prescription.

Insurance stopped coverage for Nexium, tried others, did not work as well, kept loosing voice, now that I can get Nexium for about the same price, I can sleep all night and I don't loose my voice half way through the day.

Years ago I began using Nexium. It was only given thru a Doctor's prescription then. It was also expensive back then, so my Doctor had me try 2 other prescription heartburn drugs that were somewhat less expensive. The problem was they did not control my heartburn like Nexium did so I eventually went back to Nexium. When it finally began selling "over the counter", I was very pleased to be able to get it at a cheaper cost. Bottom line, nothing works for me as good as Nexium.

Bring back tablets!!! The capsules all contain ferric oxide which is iron oxide and can cause heartburn. The tablets do NOT contain this addictive which is likely why they work better for most people. Stop forcing capsules with iron on consumers with heartburn and make more of the tablets. The capsules are a horrible substitute.

I was pleased to not have to repeat another dosage within the 24 hour period as prescribed.

I have been taking Nexium for years at the 40MG amount due to Gerd and esophageal spasms. Since my prescription plan no longer covers the 40MG Nexium two of these are the same according to my doctor and this price is more cost effective than my co-p[ay was previously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great for heartburn. I tried having it as prescribed - Every morning with a glass of water on empty stomach. It works well and I didn't have a lot of heartburn after the initial 2 to 3 days. The first day I did have some heartburn related to eating a lot of Spring Onions the night before. I mostly work Night Shifts so as soon as I wake up I take one Nexium 24 hour capsule which definitely does work after 4 days of continuously using it. I have tried other companies when it comes to heartburn and right now I think this Nexium 24 hr works the best. As mentioned it takes upto 4 days for it to kick into effect which I noticed on 4-5 days. The only drawback I found is that on the first day I felt a little weak after having one capsule. I think it got right to work and my body had to adjust to the medicine. After 3 to 4 days it works as a charm but I think healthy diet and less spicy food is highly recommended when taking these capsules.

Having tried numerous OTC antacids and other products, I can say that I have finally found the product that works for me. No more late night suffering, and buying countless pills that offered little or no relief. The search for a product that works for me, is over. I will continue to use Nexium.
