I've been using these qtips for a long time but recently I've noticed there's barley any cotton on it I've bought several boxes thinking it was just a one time problem but they're all awful I've gotten scratches in my ear because of how little cotton is on them I will never buy them again 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The texture is great and soft but not too soft. Great value for the money. I didn't notice any scent. I use these to apply lotions, clean my keyboard, and for my baby. They work great for the things I need them for. The packaging is great also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really appreciate the size of the Q-tips travel pack. I have not seen a similar size for any other brand. It is perfect for traveling or just throwing in the purse for whenever you need it. I use Q- tips to get makeup from under my eyes and it always does the job. I personally buy cotton swabs from a generic brand when I get a large container just because there is nothing unique in the swab itself. The travel pack is perfect, however, simply because of its convenient size. I recieved my Q- tips travel pack complimentary but all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Q-tips for touching up make up mistakes, specifically eye make up. As someone who messes up eyeliner every time without fail Q-tips are the perfect product for cleaning up my face. This particular travel pack is awesome to throw in my bag and take on the go. Without fail I leave the house and look in the mirror and notice something I missed. There are plenty in the pack to fix even the worst make up mishap! I tested Q-tips for free, but my opinions are my own and honest.

We’ve been buying this brand for over 30 years now and have never had any issues, but the last two boxes we’ve bought have a lot less cotton and even some have cotton only on one side of it. We pay a little more for this because of the quality but that’s not true anymore. So until we hear the quality is better we will no longer be buying this product!!

I too have used Q-tips for a long time - 35 years or more. I used to use them: as tiny paint “brushes“; for cleaning/dusting in tight places; to clear clogged nozzles on opened tubes of glue, paste, caulk, etc.; and, yes, to swab my ears, including the ear canals (I was aware of the concern/controversy about the ostensible danger of this practice, I had noted the disclaimer on Q-tips packages, and I swabbed with a very slow and gentle circular motion --- with no reluctance and at my own risk). * Now, the paint brush function doesn’t work because the sparse and weakly- applied cotton unravels when pulled from the paint, deforming the cotton tip and marring the painted area. * Now, the cleaning/dusting function works only if the “tight places” aren’t too tight and there isn’t much finger pressure required - inserting the tip into certain places causes the sparse and weakly-applied cotton to unravel when removed and renders the tip useless, and applying anything other than very slight finger pressure causes the flimsy shaft to bend, almost to breaking, and renders the entire swab useless. * Now, the nozzle unclogging function doesn’t work because the flimsy shaft bends, almost to breaking, and renders the entire swab useless. * Now, the ear swabbing function doesn’t work because the sparse amount of cotton causes it to seem, as another reviewer wrote, “like I am sticking a 'stick' in my ear”. I adapted when the blue plastic shafts were effectively discontinued, and I continued to purchase and use Q-tips. But, the reduction in the amount and/or quality of cotton in the tips and rolled paper in the shafts has substantially reduced the utility of this product and is a proverbial deal-breaker. My primary concern is about the loss of use for swabbing my ears. I used to be able to dry my ears with a single swab (and if the humidity wasn’t too high I could do it with just one end of a single swab). Now, almost immediately after beginning to rotate a swab about in my ear, the cotton begins unraveling, I can feel the end of the shaft scraping on my skin, and the shaft begins to flex and then to bend, almost to breaking. It now takes 2-4 swabs to dry my ears. This isn’t acceptable. After decades of being not just a good product, but a great product, Q-tips cotton swabs is now an inferior product. Q-tips/Unilever, you know it’s true --- why else would you have so many reviewers writing about how much they used to like this product, and how they are now dissatisfied and disappointed with it. I doubt that there’s one of us who wouldn’t willingly pay a reasonable rise in price to get back the Q-tips Cotton Swabs that we used to get. Please fix this right away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only brand of cotton swabs that I will ever buy. Everything else is garbage compared to these. I know you’re not supposed to but I do lightly clean my ears out with these, usually just the outside of my ear. Q-Tips are always soft and never hurt my ear to use. Same goes for when I use them to get off makeup in a small area around my eye. It never bothers my eye because while so precise, the Q-Tips are also soft. As for value, by maybe saving a dollar or two on off brand cotton swabs, you won’t get anywhere near the quality. Q-Tips will always be the only brand I will buy.

Quips are by far the best cotton swabs around. They use only the softest cotton, and they don't fall apart like other brands. I received my latest pack of them for free from influenster, in exchange for my review, and I still love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much softer than store brand, but quite a bit more cost wise. Many different uses which is nice. I mostly use these for makeup removal, or cleaning my littles nose. These come in a nice container compared to the standard cardboard/plastic box.
