It's really a bad idea to skimp on the cotton tip. That's the reason consumers buy Q-tips as opposed to the store brand. The last box I purchased convinced me there is no reason to pay for name-brand any longer and I will be exploring other options. That seemingly small change makes a huge difference when using. In the picture below the original Q-tip is on the left, the new version is on the right.

They are easy to use to clean your ears, remove makeup and apply ointment to scraps. They are effective to get into the container and they don't collapse. I highly recommend these

I like this carrying case because it helps me to keep the tips of the swabs fresh, so they're not gathering dust at the bottom of my purse or makeup bag. I just ask that you please recycle the case (it's #5 plastic) when you're done with the 30 Q-tips in the travel pack, or maybe reuse it by refilling it with more Q-tips afterward!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other brands of cotton swabs, I have to say that Q-tips are really the best that I have tried. They are quality made at a reasonable price. They are absorbent. They come in handy for crafts. I use them most for ear cleaning. I have never had the problem with Qtips where the cotton comes off or doesn't stay snug to the stick, which is the main issues that I've had with knockoffs and store brands. I've also found Qtips handy in removing stray nail polish when painting my nails. I used to keep a plastic bag of Q-tips in my travel kit, but they'd inevitably come unraveled and I'd have to throw them out. What a waste! These come in a hard plastic container that's small enough to take in a carry on, yet won't allow so much product to go to waste like before. I love Qtip brand, I use it everyday after a shower to make my ears feel clean and fresh! Also works great with little ones and cleaning out their noses! The travel pack is nice and convieint and fits well in a purse. Thanks to Influenster for letting me try this as a sample.

This is one of two go-to brands of swabs that I purchase - these are usually well within my budget, they're nicely padded on both ends, and the swabs are well fixed. I use them for so many purposes, including fixing little makeup mishaps and removing fingernail polish. Definitely recommended.
