I'm not sure if it was the batch, but this last time I purchased these Q-tip cotton swabs, they're VERY flimsy. The stick part bends and doesnt hold shape very well. I'd rather buy one box from any other store instead of bulk if this is how they are. Unless it was just an orf batch.

I use q-tips for everything. Wound care, clearing water out of my ears after my shower and applying creams and ointments. I've checked other prices online and Sam's Club has the best price and I get a bazillion of them. I will probably never have to buy anymore in my lifetime. Great job! Sam's Club.

This is NOT on Sam's Club at all, however, the modern day Q-tips are garbage now. The paper stick is designed to go limp under the faintest amount of pressure. This may be the "new age" safety design or simply a cheaper way to manufacture them but it insures a Q-tip can no longer endure cleaning an area as it once could, especially my ears. As such, I will be looking for another brand. Money isn't the issue but quality is. This will be my last purchase of "Q-tips".

I wanted to like these so badly. Just like so many items being sold today, they smell so moldy. I was hoping the plastic wrap would keep out any odors from a stinky warehouse. Sadly, the only part that wasn't smelly is the part that was covered by both the package and the inserted label. The upper portion smelled right through the plastic wrap and into the box of q-tips. I was able to save about a third of them. But, I'm allergic to mold so the rest is garbage. Money lost.

With the four of us, this is easy to run out since I don’t go into my son’s bathrooms and they don’t tell me they’re low until they’re out. This pack was cost effective!! I checked against WM. Then there was a coupon, which made this even lower. I simply had to purchase this. Even if I don’t “need it” right now.

Like many other reviewers I was loyal to this brand for quality and I've never been so disappointed in a cotton swab as these. Completely dry the stick is so wimpy it folds if you look at it funny! They ore so flimsy if you breathe on them the humidity from your breath will weaken them and they bend. Heaven forfend you're trying to dry out shower water from your ear canal! Forget it. I can not imagine what these would be good for, other than landfill. Wow.

Not as good as the individual version found at Walmart. In this version the paper sticks are too weak so they easily bend. That's why they are cheaper than the individual version. After I'm done with this massive package I'll be going back to the individual version.

Been using Q-tips since around the time they were fighting in court for 'Q-tips' to be a brand and not the product name and have always depended on them to be useful. Don't know if I got a rouge batch, but the cotton does not seem to be wound as tight on the stick and tends to fray from the end more than you would like. Too bad...

I use these for many things and normally count on the quality of this named brand product. Recently the quality has been a bit off. Some of the tips were oversized and others in the same box would be scarce. I will buy them again because they still out do all the other products out there.

I have purchased bargain basement “q-tips” to save money. The “look alike” q-tips bend and the tips come off too easily. I even doubt the tips are cotton. I use the off brand to clean with. For safety reasons, don’t buy anything else but the real Q-tips brand. They are superior to anything else. Just wish the price was a little lower from manufacturer.
