On my ears I only use for the outermost portion as to not damage anything. I do love them For cleaning too. My fan was super dirty and in great need of a clean. I cant reach the front portion of my fan so qtips are great for getting inbetween small spaces.

I'm 64 and have been loyal to this brand for decades, so I'm extremely disappointed that Q-tips have become yet another example of shrinkflation. Their draw used to be that the swabs had more cotton than other brands, and that USED TO BE true. For it to be true now, the other brands must just be stcks b/c there is very little cotton on today's Q-tips. Shame on you, UNILEVER! Is this how you're "Celebrating 100 Years"??
