They are very effective when I use on my skin and even when used on my craft projects. It's not scented, so it's a huge plus. These are definitely cost-effective since they hold up well. I use them to clean ears, apply ointments, clean small areas, and more. I need them not to leave nuzzles behind. Also, loving the tub it comes in. It's plastic, but the lid is easy to remove and put back on, which means it will uphold leaving the Qtips in the tub. Great space saver. Easy on the ears. Perfect size
