I've been buying q tips since forever. why is there less cotton on them than b/4? I have to rip a cottonball apart and wrap it around the end just to be able to clean my ears! I even bought a box of the new skinny end - fat back ones and they just don't do it! A little more cotton on the tip, please, or I will have to stop buying them after some 50+ od years.

Grew up with Q-tips and use them in a myriad of ways around the house and personal grooming. Don't have them here in NZ so I have them purchased and sent over with my care parcels from friends in California. Even with the expensive freight, there is no other cotton swab I will ever use!!

I am in my 60's and have been buying Qtips my entire life. I have used them for personal care as well as craft / hobby projects. I remember commercials where Qtips boasted about 'extra cotton on the tip' and always bought the Qtip brand believing it was the best. But in these days of product quality and product size and quantity reduction - hidden inflation, who would have thought one could do this to a Qtip? It has been awhile now that I have noticed how cheaply made your product has become. The cotton is no longer tightly wound around the tip and the amount of cotton has decreased as well sometimes exposing just the stick. As I take them from your package to fill my dispenser, the tips are already falling off and loose.They no longer suit the purpose for which I buy them! I am not one to write reviews but seeing such a decline in a product that was once so superior to the generic cotton swabs, makes me angry that even a once 'great' product as small as a Qtip could be subject to diminished quality for the sake of corporate gain. I need not add a photo - you know what I'm talking about!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Qtips are a great product to have because they can be used for so many things. The quality of the Qtips is very strong even though it is on a paper stick. The 300 count vanity tub is clear and makes the Qtips easy to access versus the standard box. The lid of the canister does lock in place but I wouldn't bring this for travel because I have accidentally dropped it and the lid popped off. It is easier to access the Qtips because they are are vertical in the container. I like that the container is clear too so you can see how much you have left. I use Qtips to gently clean off eye make up or clean small hard to reach surfaces. I feel like the quality of the cotton is soft and I would still choose Qtips over a bargain brand.

I bought a large package of Q-Tips and was really disappointed with the quality of the product. The cotton is supposed to have plenty of cotton at the tip, but the swabs in this package have so little cotton the sticks scratch my skin! I've compared the product in this recent purchase to Q-Tips bought several years ago and I can visibly see the difference.

My mother used this on me and my siblings and I’ve used them on my children and my oldest is 40 years old. Well recently the W-tips have less cotton on them and some don’t have any which really hurts the ear. So now I have to inspect them all before using. And with less cotton on them it can still hurt. I feel it doesn’t clean nearly as well anymore. So in all these decades of trusting this product I am highly disappointed in the poor quality. I’m guessing whoever made this change has never used this product. I will be searching for a replacement product which I am not at all happy about doing but I am tired and stressed about my ears hurting. Less is not best. I wonder how many others are hurting their ears and worse their children’s ears. Shame on you for making an inferior product. What a disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Q-tips 300 count vanity tub is a great product and it sits very nicely on my bathroom counter and is not an eyesore. There’s not too many notable things that you can say about a Q-tip, the Q-tip brand has always been the best cotton swab brand around, so these are no different. They are very effective at cleaning small objects and are extremely soft. There is no scent to them, that I can tell, I believe that’s good because that means they are sterile. This is a great addition to my bathroom rather than having a box that I have to pull out every time I want to use a Q-tip. I pull the top off, grab a couple of Q-tips, pop the top back on and I’m ready to go. I like the vanity tub a lot. I would recommend this product to my friends and family.
