I much prefer the standard swabs over the generic ones with the plastic sticks. These are far better for the environment and less likely to snap and poke you. The only downside is that my most recent box had several defective swabs that were missing one of the ends. I’m surprised because they typically have excellent quality.

There’s a lot of products that I’m perfectly happy buying the generic version of, but not with cotton swaps. Q-Tips is the absolute best brand of cotton swabs on the market. They perform the best, and they have the best quality. The only thing that would make them even better is if they were made in the USA. Regardless, I appreciate that Q-Tips have cotton that is really tightly wound on the tip of the swab so that it isn’t fluffy and coming off on anything you touch like other brands. Not only do I use Q-Tips for cleaning my ears, but I also use Q-Tips when I’m doing my make up and for cleaning little nooks and crannies around the house, including some of my toddler’s toys. Q-Tips is a household staple with a variety of uses, and I highly recommend them!
