Every family member needs to have their own bottle—eye drops are not something to be shared. One bottle lasts quite a while but it is always nice to have an extra on hand in case you get an eye infection and have to throw it out to avoid contaminating the other eye. Sometimes I give an extra to the food pantry.

My dry eyes were causing blurry vision. My eye doctor recommended extra lubricant drops over the regular Refresh Tears drops that I had been using. She gave me a sample of Refresh Mega 3 as well. The Mega 3 is preservative free and perhaps because of that they came in a single use disposable vials. I tried Mega 3 for a week and they seemed to help a bit. But then bought Systane Ultra since it has different lubricant additives. It seems to be more efficient and last longer. It does have a preservative but I felt no irritation because if it. I would recommend these only because of the single use vials that come with Mega 3.

Some of the bottles of drops stop up and I can't use them. I've had at least 6 bottles stop up through the last two years. I like the eye drops when I'm able to use them. I keep hoping the next ones I get will be different. I really don't know who to report this to. my husband had been ill the last 2 years so I have had more to think about than reporting this problem.

I have been using Systane Ultra Eyedrops for the past few years. I keep one in my purse, one in my cosmetics bag, one in my bathroom sink. I don't use them very often (only once or twice daily at most) but like to have them within reach. This is the best value.
