I have only tried one other brand. They both do tjeir job but for some reason I keep buying Systane.

My wife has been using it for years and loves it. Texas sun and humidity can be rough on the eyes. She tried a less expensive pharmacy chain "compare to Systane" product and she found it worthless.

Dry eye is hard to medicate. Nothing really helps completely and long lasting. My3 grade is more of a product category rating than specific to Systane.
