I have been waiting for many months to get this contact solution, because it was out of stock everywhere. I tried several store brand knock-offs, but none compare to the real thing. I finally ordered it online, and I was thrilled to have it within a few days.

I usually use the equate brand 3% hydrogen peroxide lens solution from Walmart, but all my local stores have been out of stock for months. After the first day trying the Clear Care brand name, I noticed a haziness in my vision for the first several hours after putting in my lenses in the morning. This might be normal at the end of the day if my eyes were getting dry, but it was always the beginning. Then I read online that many people have a reaction to the Hydraglide ingredient (which the off brands do not have). So I switched to Walgreens brand and it hasn't happened since. Helps clean contact lenses. Not for everyday contact storage or cases. I use this to get longer usage of my contacts. Make sure you allow plenty of time for product to do its thing before putting them in. I usually rinse them with my regular daily contact solution before putting them in my eyes. Been using this for years.

Clearcare is what I’ve used for many years, but it’s been hard to find lately. Sam’s finally got it back in stock, and hopefully will have it available on a regular basis. I switch from a B&L disinfecting solution, and Clearcare is much more effective and recommended by my optometrist.

I really like this solution but even after the alotted amount of time to clean, it still irritates my eyes so I have to rinse my contacts with another plain saline solution before putting them in. Good thing is that my contacts don’t get dry nor itchy, even after a full day of wearing them. Overall, it is a really good product.

My optometrist said my contacts had a film on them, even though I had cleaned them well with a multipurpose cleaning solution and soaked them overnight. I had noticed they were a little unclear and were irritating my eyes. When I told my daughter, she recommended I try Clear Care Plus. I noticed a difference the very first time I used it. Every morning when I put in my contacts, they are clear and I do not have to take them out and re-insert them as I was having to do with the other solution. I won’t use any other contact lens cleaner!

Recommended by my optician. It is not a moisturizer. Do not use directly in eyes. Needs to be cleaned in special contact case for you won’t be able to wear contacts. If contacts sting get them out and rinse eye. However, it works great at cleaning and disinfecting lenses.

I love this stuff! I had an eye doctor tell me I should switch to biopure. It has no peroxide in it and I could take my lenses out of the solution and wear my contacts whenever I needed to. I couldn’t switch! I like that fact that in 6 hours my contacts were definitely going to be clean and disinfected. It just seems to do a better job!

Don’t waste your time and money on the wimpy lense cleaners that don’t bubble up! Been using Clear Care for over 20 yrs…came highly recommended by my first optometrist and I haven’t regretted it at all! Helps keep lenses clean and feeling great and definitely improves wear time on my disposables.

I've been using this same brand for over 10 years daily for monthly contacts. I don't know if this is the best or not but it has never failed me and makes my contacts always feel clean. The only downside is that you need to soak for 6 hours or your eyes will burn but do that once and you'll learn your lesson. It requires a bit of planning but is a non-issue for me as I don't mind wearing my glasses on rare occasions.
