Peroxide not changing to water

I have used clear care for at least 7 years. The disinfecting bottle used to have a hole in the cap. The last two do not. I am experiencing the pain of putting peroxide into my eye. I think that the hydrogen peroxide is not changing due to a lack of oxygen. Company needs to go back to disinfecting bottle with a hole in the cap

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL!!

I get mighty tired of companies thinking that products always need improving! I’ve used the original for years with great success. - Clear Care Triple Action - This new product causes eye irritation. Come to find out that I’m allergic. I am certain that I’m not the only one. STOP changing an already great product!

I like it… and I don’t.

I bought this because they were out of my normal no-run formula, not realizing it’s a totally different type of solution. You cannot use it directly on your eyes, and it states you must allow your contacts to sit in the solution for a minimum of 6 hours to neutralize it. It’s sort of cool, I like the lens cleaning cases it comes with but it doesn’t clean like no-run solution so I still have to run them or they get cloudy. I won’t buy this again but I don’t mind using it until it’s gone.

Absolutely Awful!

I have used the traditional Clear Care for years and last year stocked up at Sam's during one of their sales. Just finished my last bottle and when I went to replace, sure enough - no more regular just the new w/ HydraGlyde. Literally the first day I wore my lenses following it's use I experienced incredibly dry contacts with horribly blurriness that I couldn't remedy with either regular saline solution flushes nor lubricating eye drops. Day two, same exact problem. Usually if I have these problems it's because I've gotten moisturizer or similar in my eyes but that clearly wasn't the case. So, I did a simple Google search and low and behold - incredibly common problem that Alcon apparently refuses to fix. I will be taking all 3 of my boxes back for refunds and guess will either search out the traditional Clear Care or switch brands completely.

Problems

I tried to use this product (ClearCare Plus) briefly with my biweekly soft contacts. I had serious problems with BLURRING and FOGGING in the lenses after disinfection. The regular ClearCare product (without HydraGlyde) is perfect and I've used it without any problems for years. The new version is unusable as far as I'm concerned. Sam's Club - please bring back the regular version of ClearCare.

Please bring back original product

Pros: None Cons: no 3 oz travel bottle. expensive than regular version. made my eye sticky after putting my contacts in & gave me headache. i am not sure why sams replace the original with a mediocre product which is expensive/less product(no travel bottle) & has bad reviews everywhere when compare to original version.

Excellent

I have used Clear Care for years. Clear Care really helps with the comfort of my contacts. I wear the 15 day disposable lenses and use to have issues with protein build up after about 7 days. Clear Care makes my contacts comfortable for the entire 15 days. I highly recommend Clear Care for your contacts.

Great for dry or sensitive eyes

About ten years back my contacts started feeling uncomfortable, like sand was scratching my eye from inside the lens. My optometrist recommended this brand and it fixed the problem. The fluid is in the bottle is hydrogen peroxide, so never let it touch your eyes (if you make that mistake, you'll never make it again!). You'll want to keep some saline solution on hand in case you need more rinsing solution than the case offers.

HydraGlyde version is unusable for me

I am sensitive to some contact solutions, which is why I always use Clear Care. But the newer HydraGlyde formula causes my eyes to burn, turn red, and dry out. I don’t recommend this to those with sensitive eyes. I hope Sam’s will carry the original again.

Awful.

The original and best is what I have used for years. I have an allergy to most contact lens solutions and Clear Care (original) is the best and purest solution for me. Enter Clear Care with "hydraglide" and for me, it is absolutely awful. My eyes do not agree with whatever additive hydraglide is and I am disappointed the original Clear Care is no longer available to purchase at Sam's Clubs. Why not provide both to consumers like me who can't use the hydraglide formula?
