Zyrtec works great for about 8 hours. Takes about 30 minutes to start working. It sure doesn’t last 24 hours like it advertises. I’m lucky if it actually lasts a full 8 hours. Disappointed it doesn’t last longer. It relieve most of my allergy symptoms when it does work.

I was actively using zyrtec everyday for about a year. It helped with my allergies as I went months without getting my usual sinus infection. However, just went for my usual cleaning and checkup at the dentist today to find I have 6 cavities in between my teeth. I have never had a single cavity before and was told from the looks my hygiene was perfect. After the routine x-rays the dentist found the cavities and asked if I take allergy medicine and I told him zyrtec. He said yep that is it, as it dries up the mouth which cause tooth decay. Will NEVER take this again.

Suffered for three days hacking away ! Tried Claritin and musinex... still hacking - no sleep ! Last night decided to throw a Zyrtec into the mix( had already discontinued Claritin) and boy am I glad I did ! Within five minutes( I’m not kidding ) I could feel improvement and within fifteen minutes post nasal drip cough and non stop drip down my throat had stopped !!!

I have been using Zyrtec daily for the past several years. It has really helped keep my allergies and itching under control. It does not make me drowsy or hyper, it just controls my allergy symptoms. I have tried other brands and Zyrtec by far works the best.

Everyone I know uses Zyrtec with no problems, so I was completely blindsided by the horrible side effects this caused me. Constant fatigue reality seemed very dream like and it put me in the absolute worst mood. I was angry all the time, very scary to not feel like yourself and have no idea why. After reading reviews online I see it causes bouts of anger in children and more often depression in adults. Horrible experience I will never take this drug again.

I've been taking Zyrtec for years. I take it every day. Yes, I have extreme allergies year round and have hives, itching, runny noise, cough, and everything else associated with allergies. I can go 1 day and I can tell I am not taking the Zyrtec. My doctor prescribed Zyrtec and has added Singular to my fight. No there is no instant cure but I can't even think how bad I would fell without the relief I get . Give it a chance (more than a couple of days). Zyrtec believer.

Myself, my brothers, and my dad have severe seasonal allergies and Zyrtec works wonders. With going to soccer practice and having to fall on grass and hiking and just being outdoors with so much pollen in the air Zyrtec helps us keep our allergies in check.

My husband was told years ago that he has allergies to just about every animal that has fur and practically all trees and grasses. The doctor gives him medication to take for his allergies, but also recommended that my husband use Zyrtec as a supplement to the serum he was given. Now my husband won't use anything else but Zyrtec.

This product works great for allergies. The only issue I had with it is the drowsiness. This product made me very tired and whenever I take it I have a very difficult time waking up. It also makes me groggy for the first few hours I am awake. I highly recommend taking this at night rather than the morning.

I have both seasonal and mild pet dander allergies, and taking Zyrtec every night has made them manageable. It significantly cuts back on my sneezing and my reddened, dry eyes. It's super affordable, too, especially in larger quantities. It doesn't make me drowsy either, which is very helpful!
