I am so glad I took the time to read these reviews about the sweetness of Equal seeming different. I thought it was me! There has been some kind of change. It's bad enough there are certain reports about the safety of the ingredients in this type of product, but to have such an obvious change is down right scary to me. Thanks to all who reviewed this product!

I have a Sam's Club membership and I used to get the equal sweetener 1000 packets for $11.42 at my local Sam's Club. The past couple of months they have not had it in the store. I just called a rep and she stated that the item is not discontinued, just out of stock. If that is the case then why can I order it through shipping for a fee? Why can't I order it and they ship to the store? I would have to upgrade for $50 and spend $50 to get it at the regular advertised price. This is bait and switch and when I explained this to the rep she said there's nothing she could do and hung up. The just took the "Customer" right out of customer service to me.
