Lower sugar oatmeal

The lower sugar oatmeal is sweetened with monk fruit extract, and it leaves a horrible aftertaste just like artificial sweetener.  I tasted it with the first bite.  Since the fact that the front reads lower sugar one might think it is the regular oatmeal and just less sugar, but not so.  As soon as I tasted it I went to the fine print and read the ingredients, and found that it is sweetened with monk fruit extract.   I personally think that should be on the front where it reads lower sugar.

Lesson learned: Always read the ingredients!

Love it,  I wish they sold it in the store. While I'm sure I can make a couple of these myself with rolled oats, the apple version is my favorite and it's so easy to make.  I now eat oatmeal every day and I can see the effects in my health already.  My resting heart rate has gone down a little (not expecting miracles here but I will take it!) and I am sure more fiber is better for everyone.  A+
