While I have always bought this oatmeal and had no issues before, I opened up a packet and went to crush the larger chunks of sugar with my spoon when I noticed a living WORM! I moved it around and found several more! I checked the date to make sure it wasn't expired and it was supposed to be good til August 2015. I also checked to make sure there weren't any holes for them to get into the bag (which there weren't), and realized they must have been packaged in. I won't be buying any oatmeal for a VERY long time!

I grew up on M&BS instant oatmeal. I are it practically every day! I was so upset when you changed the recipe because it tasted awful. Then I found the classic recipe and was so happy- only to have it disappear again! Stopped looking for it and it has been a long time since I've eaten oatmeal. My parents visited from Florida and shopped for us. They bought M&BS and I didn't even look at the package until they left. I assumed it was the "new" recipe. Today, I was going to bring the box to work to see if anyone wanted it and saw that it said classic recipe. I was so happy!! I immediately texted my husband at work! Lol! Thank you so much for bringing the original recipe back! Please keep it!!!

Reading the posts I agree. I tasted a big difference in the Maple and Brown Sugar Instant Oats. It tastes like paste! Please please bring back the original well-loved Maple and Brown Sugar FAST. I don't care if it is higher in calorie. If I wanted low calorie it'd buy that product.

I love eating maple and brown súgar I think it tastes so good also reminds me of when my girls were younger and would always want it they would of ate it for all 3 meals plus desert now grown I know my 29 year old still does no ramin noodles for her she still loves her oats as she is out in the real world now thank you for all the memories quakeroats

So I've been eating this oatmeal mixed w another brand fifty/fifty 1 pouch of each,well I tried 2 pouches if this and there is something wrong w it it doesn't thicken correctly,I use 2%milk,it's not creamy and it thickens up to a certain point then turns watery never had this problem before they changed ,they are gonna lose this business if they don't correct this cause 8m going to generic,it at least stays thick.qnd I eat it almost every day sometimes 2 x a day.

You won’t listen to the consumers. Your long-time customers. I loved this oatmeal. I’ve been eating it for well over thirty years. You’ve destroyed it to make a profit. You are lying about changing to to better the product, you’ve cut corners and made it inferior…you removed two packets. You changed the recipe and hoped we wouldn’t notice. We noticed. I hope your profits continue to do down. Never again.

I love oatmeal and the packet of Quaker's instant is convenient for workdays. While trying to cut back on sugar, I thought I would try the lower sugar option. I will never purchase this product again. The maple & brown sugar smells like celery, seems extra salty, and leaves my mouth feeling and tasting as though I ate a jar of celery salt. It's not good! Sorry Quaker but it needs to be better.

As a young man my Mom fixed us Quaker Oatmeal. I was not very fond of it at that time. I was having some health problems and the Dr. recommended I try Oatmeal. I purchased the Maple/Brown Sugar instant version as I love Maple. The product is good by it self but I made it much better by adding some Quaker Granola with fruit prior to heating. It is delicious.

Never could get my son to try oatmeal, then at 14 he finally tried my Quaker Instant Oatmeal- Maple and Brown Sugar. He loves it, I asked him why he finally tried it and why he eats it so much ? He said, he tried it because at the moment it was the only easy looking thing to fix and he was hungry. But he found he love the taste of the maple with brown sugar in the oatmeal, it satisfies his hunger and it is easy to prepare. Now I can't keep it in the house, he is a growing boy! I love the fact it's not loaded with needless calories without any protein or something to help fill him up between meals that is healthier and stays with him. At 14 he is a eating machine.I don't let him have sodas except special occasions and holidays. He drinks a lot of water and milk. I am glad he has finally found Quaker Instant Oatmeal!

I made some today I am not a person who generally enjoys oats. It was really tasty however the maple flavor was light but I found that well because I dont want it to overpower too much however it was still very bland. It tasted like sugary goopy oats. It also took around a 1 and 40 seconds to cook. I personally enjoyed these oats alot and they are a nice quick way to start your day.
