You can’t go wrong with this instant oatmeal. I’ve only really tried the Maple Brown Sugar flavor, but I’m sure all other flavors are just as tasty. The packaging is good in a sense that it’s quick and convenient…I can just grab and go for a quick nutritional breakfast. You can eat it plain or dress it up with granola or your favorite topping. Yum!

This is my favorite oatmeal. Where does the "maple" ingredient come from? I do not see the source of that ingredient on the ingredient list. I love the taste and the texture. I microwave mines with added water and then "cream it out" by adding lactose free milk. It's delicious, and I like that a serving / package doesn't contain too much salt or carbs. Those who want more salt / carbs (sugar) / etc., can add that to their oatmeal. What we cannot do is remove salt / carbs that are already in the package. So I love the formulation.

Recently got a couple of boxes of instant oatmeal the maple brown sugar ones. Noticed the design of the box changed, was disappointed to find the recipe did too. I’ve been eating this for breakfast for about 10 years now. It’s awful compared to the old recipe.

I would love to be able to get the Maple & Brown Sugar in a box like the old-fashioned oatmeal that could be measured out rather than the envelopes. Do you think this will ever be a possibility? I have cancer and eat this every morning but eat two packets instead of one as it is hard to find things I can eat. The packets can get rather expensive on my disability income.

This is my kids' favorite Quaker Instant Oatmeal flavor. I enjoy the flavor, too, but sometimes I don't want that much 'sweet', so I mix in an envelope of the plain instant oatmeal. It works - not only because of the sweet factor, but because oftentimes I like a bit more for breakfast than what is offered in a single packet. That being said, if the flavor was less sweet, I might consider having it for a mid-afternoon or nighttime snack when I want a little something, but not a large serving.

I have been a satisfied daily consumer of Quaker Original instant oatmeal for years each morning and was surprised recently when not only had there been a change in the box color, but the contents of the packets had been changed. Uncooked it looked the same, but after preparing it was mushy and bland and tasteless and lacked the character that the former version had. That's the only way I can describe it and it's a disappointing change. Has anyone else had this unfortunate experience and what does Quaker have to say about it? I downgrade it from 5 stars to one star.

How could you change this? Who are your taste testers ? Even worse you tricked us, no indication on box to inform us that it’s new.. shows that you were not even proud or sure of your choice to change the product. Awful product , awful marketing. 30 year customer gone!!!

I thought my chemo was throwing off my taste but after reading reviews from others it has become clear that you guys changed your product. Watery crap in a bowl ! Looks the same going in as it does coming out . Higher prices, less packs and this is what you give us. Never again.

Years ago when I was still living at home and had just gotten my first job my mother would always make this oatmeal for me to gobble down before I ran out the door. Jump ahead to the present day and my mother is gone and I am now retired from that job but I still love a warm bowl of Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal for breakfast. It brings back such comforting memories and tastes so good too.

Im so sad this was my favorite Quaker flavor! The strawberry used to be but the new recipe is awful, it reminds me of kids medicine. I guess they changed the Maple brown sugar recipe too, I wish they had made it apparent on the box I wouldn’t have bought 3. The best way I can describe it is tasting “dusty”. It’s not good but I can at least finish a bowl, the strawberries and cream is not edible to me. As far as I know the blueberries and cream is still good, I might just stick up on it before they mess with that one too.
