I was a fan of the M and BS flavor instant oatmeal, and ate it every day! The recipe change a few years back and I couldn't stand the taste of it. Classic came into the picture and I was again a daily consumer, but now I am no longer able to locate the Classic. I would buy it bulk if I could find it. Now I mostly just eat toast for breakfast, while hoping the classic will return.

I bought a box of Maple and Brown Suger a few weeks ago and took it back to the store thinking it was a bad box. There was no hint of maple flavor at all. I'm all for less sugar, but not "no flavor". Bought another box (variety flavors), but the taste of maple is still lacking. This used to be my favorite flavor. I guess I'll need to add maple syrup to it.

You won’t listen to the consumers. Your long-time customers. I loved this oatmeal. I’ve been eating it for well over thirty years. You’ve destroyed it to make a profit. You are lying about changing to to better the product, you’ve cut corners and made it inferior…you removed two packets. You changed the recipe and hoped we wouldn’t notice. We noticed. I hope your profits continue to do down. Never again.

Oats are supposed to have an earthy smell depending on what flavor you get but there's a smell when you microwave them or when you cook them that has this bleachy odor and this is the fourth box I bought that smell like that. I'm beginning to think this is just a new product and it's scaring me I don't want to eat a product that smell like this what did you do to it?

While I have always bought this oatmeal and had no issues before, I opened up a packet and went to crush the larger chunks of sugar with my spoon when I noticed a living WORM! I moved it around and found several more! I checked the date to make sure it wasn't expired and it was supposed to be good til August 2015. I also checked to make sure there weren't any holes for them to get into the bag (which there weren't), and realized they must have been packaged in. I won't be buying any oatmeal for a VERY long time!

I always looked forward to the winter and starting the day with a hot bowl of maple & brown sugar oatmeal but those days are gone. I actually get sick to my stomach after eating that sickening mess...you can't be making money on this product it is just awful...discontinue it all together as far as I'm concerned...yuck. I just threw-up a little in my mouth just thinking about it.

What in the world is it being flavored with!? After a day and a half and two showers, I still smell like this stuff, like the maple brown sugar smell is still coming off my skin. I'm a little concerned about it. It tastes so good, but it's weird smelling like my breakfast all day.

on a cold winter morning I like to microwave a bowl of Quaker Instant Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal. I'll add some walnut pieces and raisins along with milk and real maple syrup. This with a piece of toast and a cup or two of coffee will keep me full for quite awhile. I've been eating Quaker Oatmeal since I was a kid and have always loved it. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants a good wholesome breakfast.

It has changed. I have a lot of allergies and intolerance and this was always safe. Now, not only does it act "cheap" (doesn't thicken or mix well), it lost flavor and now newly gives me abdominal pain. Clearly, a new, problematic ingredient has been added. This is highly disappointing.
