Great hot cereal!

I had never thought I liked dry oats, I always preferred instant oatmeal due to the sweet flavors. However, I became aware of all of the added sugars and ingredients in the instant variety of oatmeal so I quit eating them. However, I missed having oatmeal once in a while so I decided to give these another try. I cooked them with almond milk and salt as directed and added brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon during the cooking process. They were absolutely delicious! The texture was great, making a nice filling and substantial breakfast without all the junk ingredients. I created my own "cinnamon & brown sugar" oatmeal knowing exactly what was in it in a matter of minutes. In no time at all I had a delicious oatmeal that I will definitely eat again.

Uh-Oh !

I'm a long-time fan of regular oatmeal. I noticed this morning that the bottom of the container (large size) had come detached creating several openings. I live in Florida so I carefully checked for any signs of insect incursion. I found none but nevertheless felt I should dispose of the whole thing, which was almost full. Very disappointing today and makes me wonder about future purchases. This has never happened before, to me.

DEEE-licious

I find that Quaker 1-minute oats are tasty and easy to prepare. They're a nutritious part of my diet. fix mine with water, then add a little evaporated milk, a few drops of vanilla extract and a small pat of butter and sweeten with Splenda. Just writing this note has made me hungry. Think I'll go fix me a bowl of Quaker oats!

Disappointing Packaging and Product

I've purchased this product for years. Just bought the large container since I have some baking coming up. Had difficulty opening the container and ended up taking off the entire plastic "rim so that there is no longer a good seal to keep it fresh! In addition, the recipe of 1/2 c. oats to 1 c. milk/water is not good. I ended up with "oat soup" after cooking it for 2 min. It's a sad day!!

Quaker Oats Quick One Minute- Why the added sugar?

I have been purchasing Quaker Oats Quick One Minute for years back in India and it does not contain added sugar I've checked. Whereas after moving here I recently noticed the product here contains added sugar 1 gram per 1/2 cup to be exact why is that? Are there any products available that do not contain added sugar?

I enjoy hot cereals,

I enjoy hot cereals, especially in the colder months. This is a classic, hug-in-a-bowl that so many of us have grown up with. It's super easy to prepare whether you chose stovetop or microwave and it always turns out perfectly. The cost is great too!

Versatile nutrition!

LOVE these! Brought my cholesterol down 30 points in a year. Throw a handful in everything-- cookies, cakes, muffins (on top for crunch, too)-- brownie mix, cereal-- throw in fiber and vitamins and no one knows. In the morning, 1/2 cup with minced apply, ceylon cinnamon and a squeeze of maple syrup.

I usually turn to

I usually turn to these oats in the winter when I want something warm that will stick to my insides. They cook in literally one minute when dropped in boiling water. A little brown sugar and milk and bam, something to warm you up after traveling in the cold in the morning.

This is my staple

This is my staple breakfast item i have on work days. I always mix it with other ingredients like bananas and peanut butter or brown sugar and maple syrup. Its a cheap and delicious way to make breakfast. It only takes a minute and you are good to go.

Easy to cook

I've heard that steel-cut oatmeal is the best choice for nutrition and overall health, but I've been struggling with cooking it properly. It takes me around 20-30 minutes to cook, and even then, it still turns out undercooked. I've been trying to find different methods to make it easier, but I'm feeling a bit tired and frustrated with the process.
