It's the best in the microwave

If you put the Quaker oats in the microwave, it tastes 10/10 with a bit of milk, water, and sugar. Be careful that you routinely after 30 -45 seconds observe the oats because they do tend to spill. I used to despise these oats because I placed them on the stove and cooked it with water and milk, it came out pasty and overall and flavorless. Ever since putting it in the microwave, it has become a staple in my diet.

beyond being a great value!!

you don’t always comprehend how much 5lbs of food is but, it sure is a lot in person so good thing this has a long expiration date.. I switched over to eating up to 100 carbs for the winter/holiday season from my usual keto lifestyle that i follow for its therapeutic benefit. quaker oats oatmeal is the one thing i wanted to waste my limited carbs on for breakfast or an evening warm snack meal.. it was just as delicious as i remember it being almost 3 yrs ago and boy do i have a lot of it to eat after getting this 5lb deal.. will be an enjoyable daily staple for sure!!

Great Taste

The Quick Quaker Oats cereal is easy to fix, takes literally one minute to cook and provides a delicious slightly nutty for all kinds of palates. Add some fruit and you are good to go. I prefer about a 1/4 teaspoon of brown sugar and some type of fruit. It fills me up and keeps me full till lunchtime.

Easy and delicious

I like that I can use the microwave for a single serving or cook 3-4 servings on the stove and reheat the portions in the microwave for a few days of meals. I love oatmeal for breakfast or dinner and it fits in perfectly helping me follow a Weight Watchers diet. I add Splenda usually and fruit. Frozen strawberries or blue berries seem to work best. I sometimes add in a splash of skim milk but usually not always. 1/2 cup of uncooked oats is 4 Points Plus and I admit for dinner to eating 3/4 cup. Delicious, filling and good for me too.

Delish to eat and versatile

Quaker Oats is how I got my husband to eat breakfast. We have it at least 4 times a week. It is a hearty and delicious way to start the day, although we've also had it for dinner on occasion. That's one of the main reasons we love it because it's so versatile. When not eating as oatmeal with a variety of fruits, nuts and even veggies, I add it to my many crumble toppings and meatloaf. I believe once you try it you will always have it in your cabinet!

Who said you had to cook it :)

This reminds me of how farmers refuse to drink COLD milk.. It has to be body warm. (ewe) Can't stand my oaks warm. Gotta have them over cold milk :P that can get room temp warm but not body warm. Cheap quick big serving meal for those on the go and don't wanna wait for it to cool down. Much better for you too. Better than milk and bread. I've known people but thats even rarer than mine. Been doing this on and off for 25 yrs. Nothings changed except it now has 1 hole or rip it all off for a scoop

I not only like to eat Quaker oats for breakfast but I also like to make oatmeal cookies. They are so health for u too. My cookies came out good. Soft and not burnt. So I give that an A+ Quaker is not expensive at all. I'm just glad I was able to use them up before they went bad.

Over the last couple

Over the last couple of years, Quaker 1 Minute Oats have become my "swap-in" ingredient in so many recipes. I have some stomach issues that benefit from increased soluble fiber (hello, oats) and these are tender enough to use in place of other binders (like breadcrumbs) in some recipes, and to be an additional health boost in other recipes. So versatile!

What Happened to 1-Minute Oats?

I’ve eaten Quaker 1-Minute oats for decades. They have gotten me through Covid and the invasion of Ukrainian, and that’s just recently. But now something is wrong. The oats don’t get soft and creamy; they are crunchy, sort of like eating little twigs. Mornings definitely. Are not the same!

I often make Quaker Quick oats with boiling hot water in my soup mug with a lid. By the time I get to work the oats are cooked and ready to eat. This makes a hearty breakfast and it's fast. I like the convenience of the 1 minute oats if I don't have time to make the regular quick cooking oats.
