major weight loss

started eating quaker 1 minute quick oats in November to replace all other bad breakfast foods and after adding fruits and things but settled on using water not milk and using a dash of sugar, found it to be very filling and eat it at least 6 times a week. has helped me lose almost a hundred pounds in 8 months without dieting just eating healthier

What's not to like

What's not to like about oatmeal?!? I love it in a bowl with milk and blueberries for breakfast or in cookies with chocolate chips. I usually buy instant, but I am trying to cut my sugar intake, so these oats are great and doesn't leave me hungry again in 30 minutes. So delicious just add fresh fruit and coconut milk!

I enjoy hot cereals,

I enjoy hot cereals, especially in the colder months. This is a classic, hug-in-a-bowl that so many of us have grown up with. It's super easy to prepare whether you chose stovetop or microwave and it always turns out perfectly. The cost is great too!

Sensitivity

I'm not sure what it is but Quick Quaker Oats gives me severe nasal irritation. The packaging says what is in the contents but, I suspect there is some irritant used in processing the product, such as a bleaching agent or some such. Quaker should list ALL such information on the package for the protection of consumers.

OMG I am saddened

Dear Quaker Oats, I think I may be over you. You see, yesterday I wanted a bowl of quaker oats and began the process of making a hot, delicious bowl of oatmeal. Once my water began to boil, I slowly poured in my Quaker Oats, started stirring them and noticed a greater than normal number of brown flecks beginning to churn in my oats. I have always known that those brown flecks were bugs, and would just spoon the two or three of them out, no big deal. But this time, this time there was a plethora of brown flecks. Too many to keep up with. Curioslty got the best of me and I placed some of those brown flecks on a plate and pulled out a magnifying glass, and yes those brown flecks are indeed bugs. But, I wasn't expecting to see a worm! That was just over the top. You might think the next logical step would be to just pour the boiling oats down the sink, and choose something else to eat, but you would be wrong. I poured some Quaker Oats onto a plate and watched all the brown flecks crawling around. This act was followed by pouring the boiling oats down the drain, followed by returning the uncooked oats in to the Quaker Oat container and placing that in a plastic bag. And of course now my heart (and stomach) are broken too know I have now been permanently scared and will never eat Quaker Oats again.

Been using this since I was a kid and I still use it. It’s my go-to when I need something to fill me up to prepare me for a long day. You can add anything you want to it to make it tasty. I like adding fruits or raisins, and sometimes even flavored electrolyte powders or protein collagen. It’s the perfect, healthy breakfast meal!

I decided that I want to have a healthier nutrition by providing my body with natural fiber and support in my diet to lose weight or maintain weight and it has gone very well for me, I just put oatmeal water or some banana fruit or strawberries and we have a smoothie nutritious and healthy

Uh-Oh !

I'm a long-time fan of regular oatmeal. I noticed this morning that the bottom of the container (large size) had come detached creating several openings. I live in Florida so I carefully checked for any signs of insect incursion. I found none but nevertheless felt I should dispose of the whole thing, which was almost full. Very disappointing today and makes me wonder about future purchases. This has never happened before, to me.

Why change?

I don't know why the old fashioned oats were replaced with quick oats, but it's ridiculous. They have a horrible texture, don't work on the steam table, don't work for cookies... I honestly don't know what they ARE good for. PLEASE restock the old fashioned oats.

Chaff In Oatmeal

I eat your quick oats for breakfast every morning. I normally love it but every so often I get a box that has lots of chaff in it. The current one is really bad. Every mouth full, I'm having to pick chaff out of my mouth. You guys need to correct this.
