- 3 out of 5 stars review3/25/2022Although very quick and easy to make, I really prefer the taste of the the original steel cut oats because of the consistency. The quick oats just were not uniform in firmness. I had some harder pieces and some were just perfect. Overall, I would buy only if I was cooking with them and not using them for a breakfast product.
Although very quick and

I usually make it with milk and sometimes as quinoa. I also finish it off with peanut butter or butter and brown sugar. It is super easy to make either over the stove top or in the microwave.ÂOriginally posted oninfluenster.com

alyssab281Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 1 out of 5 stars review2/4/2016My mom fed me Quaker Oats Old Fashion when I was a baby up until I left home. Once I was out on my own and needed a quicker way to prepare them, I would purchase instant oats. Then came 1 Minute and my 16 and 10 year old has loved them as well. Thanks for coming out with one so similar to Old Fashion.

41 Year FanOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/31/2014I hate buying oatmeal in the packets at any grocery store. It's all sugar and junk with a minimal amount of anything that will help my body. The quick oats are a way for me to do something for my heart and to feed my son who is allergic to everything in the morning. This product is a staple in my home and we will always have it. I like controlling my breakfast. In the morning I am slow and need something easy so yeah. 5 stars.
A family staple
TheoBlack1Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/19/2021I not only like to eat Quaker oats for breakfast but I also like to make oatmeal cookies. They are so health for u too. My cookies came out good. Soft and not burnt. So I give that an A+ Quaker is not expensive at all. I'm just glad I was able to use them up before they went bad.lorim90Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 1 out of 5 stars review12/9/2019Your "1 Minute" Oats are terrible now. When I cook them now I am left with a mushy paste. How can this happen in a microwave? From what I can tell is that Quaker has decided to change their "oat recipe/preparation" for more profit by adding non actual full uncut oats to the mix. Sort of like adding in Oatmeal Flour and the consumer is disappointed, figures they just got a wrong box, Quaker now has instant, 1 minute, 5 minute, steel cut...maybe my 1 minute oats are called something else now? If so ~ You should have told us. I'm personally sick of it and no longer buy Quaker oats, I now eat the generic oatmeal. It may also come from Quaker but its less expensive and is what Quaker 1 minute oatmeal USED to taste like and have the texture of...
1 Minute Oatmeal Now MUSHY PASTE = Yuk and DON'T B
Mushy OatsOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/30/2016I bought the quaker 1 minutes oats and really enjoyed the texture of the oats. when I bought the next batch I couldn't understand why the oats were so clunky and big. after sucking it up and finally gong back to the grocery store for more I notice there were two brands and now know the 1 minute oats are for me. Thank you for this product I would have never bought the old fashion oats.
Breakfast every morning
Fit_momOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/4/2019For many years, I ate the Quaker Oats oatmeal packets of various flavors. But when I committed to eating healthier (less sugar, less fat, etc.), I tried making my own packets. 1/2 cup oatmeal 1/4 cup 'natural' dried fruit (I prefer blueberries and cherries, and I select a brand that has a minimum of added sugar) 1/4 cup unsalted mixed nuts (no salt, no flavorings, just natural nut taste) I can make up an entire weeks worth of breakfasts in five minutes. I put each serving in a reusable plastic bowl with a lid. At work, I add enough hot water from the coffee/tea machine to cover, and stir to combine. The result is incredible! It's not syrupy sweet, but the dried berries clearly add a sweetness (and a tartness, for the cherries). The ...
I make my own packets
KenPOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review7/1/2022I’ve eaten Quaker 1-Minute oats for decades. They have gotten me through Covid and the invasion of Ukrainian, and that’s just recently. But now something is wrong. The oats don’t get soft and creamy; they are crunchy, sort of like eating little twigs. Mornings definitely. Are not the same!
What Happened to 1-Minute Oats?
Adnil625Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review11/2/2014I fixed a single serving of the Quaker Oats - Quick Oats 1/2 cup oats to 1 cup milk and it came out as a milky soup. It did not look anything like the picture on the box with mostly oats and could not even see the milk. I was thinking the package had the wrong instructions but the website said the same thing.
Too milky
gerowellOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/30/2022I love my oatmeal! I specifically like my PLAIN oatmeal so I can add my own toppings and ingredients to fit my taste buds. I generally will put raisins, a little bit of brown sugar, cinnamon and a scoop of peanut butter for my protein. I could, and have and still do, eat it any time of the day. I love that I can change up my own ingredients and control the amount of sugar that's in it.
I love my oatmeal!
fabulousashesOriginally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/17/2022These are a great on the go option for a healthy breakfast! DominikaBOriginally posted oninfluenster.com - 4 out of 5 stars review6/17/2016I have been eating Quaker 1-minute oats every day for years for the associated health benefits. Love my Quaker Oats! That said, has anyone noticed that the oats do not seem to be absorbing as much liquid? I like my oatmeal thick - and it is taking less liquid to make that happen. Not sure if the manufacturing process changed... not sure how oats might change, but wanted to see if this is a shared experience.
Manufacturing Change?
cats_momsOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/1/2017I'm not sure what it is, i've always used Quaker oats oatmeal, but this batch brand new tastes like there is dish soap in it. The first time I thought it was my fault (maybe an unclean pot) nope! A week later my wife makes me a pot and she says it tastes weird and I told her I thought thea same thing last week. I dumped it out and smelled the package and wow, smells like it tasted.
Tased Like Dish Soap
Allblak1Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/9/2015I've been eating the 5 minute Quaker Oatmeal for YEARS! Cooked in partial milk and partial water, I like to put cinnamon, roasted nuts and sliced apples, bananas and any other fruit that's in season on it. Even a dash of plain yogurt for protein helps make this the best meal everyday!
MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST!

alg248Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/9/2019Quaker Oats is the only brand that I buy for making my oatmeal's it's heart-healthy and is grateful for having a healthy digestive system because of the good source of fiber it has. What I don't like about it but really doesn't bother me is that it says the one quick minute make and actually takes longer but I totally recommended.kathyc4f45Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 4 out of 5 stars review3/5/2016I've been eating Quaker Oats all my life of eighty years. They begin the day with a healthy breakfast. I was raised on them and I gave them to my kids. My husband had an Ulser and ate them every morning because they soothed his tummy. We think the oats cured the ulser after a few weeks. The doctor was surprised. I can't say enough about Quaker Oats. I always have them on hand. They are delicious and filling and can be added to many recipes.
Best Breakfast
