Wanted the old bulk box I've been buying for years. Individual packets are a waste, bad for the environment and take up my time to open and through away.

I love these potatoes, you can make them as thick as you like and the buttery flavor taste just as good as did you mashed them yourselve without the work.

When I’m too tired or lazy to make real potatoes, these are a delightful substitute. They’re buttery, tasty, and so good. I sometimes add more butter with some chives throw in. The price is excellent.

Have used these Idahoan Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes for more than 2 years, it's hard to believe they are instant. They are very good. Also the price is so much better at Sam's rather than the local grocery store.

I was not sure how good this would taste I am not a fan of instant potato’s. I am pleased to say my family liked them. Good tast, smooth, they reheated great in microwave. I will buy them again.

Love the fact I only add water. Usually I make my mashed potatoes with milk but if I am out of milk this tastes just as good and even better than my homemade potatos.

my grandkids think mine are the best..they do not know they are from the mix..my daughter was shocked that they were not a result of fresh potatoes and me slaving over the mashing..

Works for us as we do not have milk and we sometimes want potatoes! Would rather buy at the store because 8 packages is a lot but not in stock as single packs since the pandemic! . I only do 1/4 or 1/2 of the package at a time. I am happy with this purchase...just hope to use prior to expiration date!M

Decided to try instant potatoes after not using for many years. I have been making "real" mashed potatoes only 3 or 4 times a year because of the general hassle. These are definetly good enough for every day meals in a hurry. Also, much lighter in the grocery bag.

$30.00 delivery charge for a box of 8 pouches. Really? Started off with 2 boxes in the cart and almost fell on the floor seeing a $60.00 delivery charge in the cart, for 2 boxes. This certainly is not in line with Walmarts free shipping with purchase minimum that I had met and significantly exceeded. Removed from cart, as there is no reason for $30 bucks to ship one box of 8 pouches. Wont be ordering these anytime soon.
