This is a good brand, but the taste and texture weren’t there. Nobody liked these. I’m sticking to the Idahoan instant potatoes in the carton. Those are awesome. These just didn’t have it. We seem to be in the minority here, but I won’t buy these again.

We have been a frequent buyer of many Idahoan products at our grocery stores. We saw the link to buying online through Instagram, so we clicked & were brought to the full line of Idahoan products, including some not available at the store. We are very pleased using the Buttery Homestyle instant potatoes packet; they take about 5 minutes to prepare & cook in the microwave. The texture & taste is very much like from scratch mashed potatoes, just a lot faster to make. We've introduced our grandson to this brand, and he's a regular user of Idahoan instant mashed potatoes too! We can recall back in the day when instant potatoes were introduced, they had a bland weird taste. Idahoan has improved the instant mashed potatoes products 100%. The potatoes taste real and have that familure mashed potatoes texture & creamy buttery taste like homemade ones. Give them a try; they won't disappoint you!

Super easy and fast to make. Texture is fantastic once you get everything whipped up. Taste is a bit salty for my personal flavor profile so I mix with a little bit of plain instant potatoes and then it's absolutely perfect. Would definitely buy again even once we're finally out of quarantine!

I usually don’t care to write a review but with these I did. I would never use these for something like thanksgiving or a family dinner, but they are good for a small lunch or snack. The packet is too big for one person so I recommend splitting it in half. You also need a lot more water than the recipe calls for. It is best to add water as you mix and check the dryness.

I love these potatoes. They taste just like homemade with no fuss & work to make them from scratch. These are just as delicious! Highly recommend buying them!

We use everything from Idaho's. You put these on the table with some really good gravy and you'll probably have to go back to your kitchen and make some more!

So quick and easy to prepare. Tastes like home made and the variety of flavors is amazing. My fresh potatoes always go bad before I can use them. This is so hand and flavorful!

These are my absolute favorite mashed potatoes. They are so easy and quick to make and they are so flavorful. You don’t have to measure anything but water, which I love.
