This is a tasty mash potato. The description of “32 oz; 8 packs” is/can be misread as “8 packs with each pack containing 32 ounces”. The box actually has 8 packs of envelope with only 4 oz each”.

I fixed a package of these as per instructions. When eating them with brown gravy, it tasted like something went bad-as in taste. I tasted the gravy-it was fine. I tasted the instant Idahoan Buttery Homestyle Mashed Potatoes and there it was. I guess it was supposed to be a buttery flavor, but when you're not expecting it, it tastes more like something has soured. I'm now looking for something to add to the water or substitute the water to hide the 'buttery' flavor. I've got a box with 11 pouches left.

Awesome instant Potatoes.....the best in America.....very convenient ...goes with about any meal or their excellent as a single dish......add extra hot water or milk and easily mix for a tasty potatoe soup.....maybe add some bacon bits......be creative and enjoy - RW, NC
