I've used the small packs of idahoan potatoes for a number of years. When I don't want to spend the time peeling and cooking potatoes I use these. They are good quality and taste great. Now I have them in large package so I don't go to the store for them as often.

I always buy Idahoan instant mashed potato flakes. Sam’s didn’t have the flakes but they had the Premium Mashed Potatoes. They’re even better than the flakes! They taste like I made them from scratch and at a good price. When I run out of these I will buy the same kind. I recommend this product.

Tastes Great! These are as good as potatoes that are peeled and mashed...maybe better. My family used to say they would not eat instant potatoes; now they say they can't tell the difference. I use milk and margarine when preparing them and then mix with my electric mixer. I will never go back to peeling potatoes.

Excellent potatoes! I made these for a banquet of 175 ppl. Two boxes of these Idahoan potatoes, a bag of red potatoes cut small with peelings on (cooked and mashed) and two sticks of butter...some garlic salt, onion powder, salt and pepper. They were a hit! Will definitely be using these potatoes from now on. VERY easy to make...you can't mess them up!

I like short cuts. These are the next best tasting taters to "fresh." A favorite of Hubby's fixed with whole milk and real butter. When I don't peel fresh ones, he's satisfied with 'loaded' Idahoan mashies (topped with bacon bits, cheese and chives), along with a garden salad and cornbread.

I never was one for ‘instant’ potatoes; but these changed my mind a number of years ago! Since the first time I tried them, I’ve never Ed considered going back to peeling, boiling and mashing potatoes from scratch. As easy to prepare and as delicious as these are; why go through the unnecessary steps!?!

The best of all the brands of instant. Idahoan tastes just like fresh mash potatoes. when I use to make fresh homemade mashed potatoes I "boil my potatoes in chicken broth," NOT WATER. I also add 2 mince cloves of garlic in the pot with potatoes and when all is done, I drain them I only add black pepper, butter, and half and half, some times I did add sour cream. So Why Not? Now with the instant mash potatoes, I use (no water) only chicken broth, half and half, garlic powder, black pepper, and some parsley flakes. So so so good. People always ask for my recipe. So easy to make and taste like the real thing. I recommend this brand over all the other brands. Buy the best and you will know the difference. Good luck.

Best instant potatoes ever. They come out fluffy and about as close to real potatoes that you can get. It takes 5 minutes in the microwave to heat the liquid to make them. They are very easy and so quick that you can get a rotisserie chicken from Sam's and make these potatoes and have a small salad in less that 20 minutes. This is a parents dream for a quick dinner side.

I have used these for years and they never change; they are consistently great. They are great to prepare ahead and put in a covered casserole while entertaining or during a holiday. I always add a little milk, cream or powdered milk to prepare. Doctor them up for a double baked potato using the potato interior and these so your potatoes are overflowing.

This Idahoan product is super good. I have been using it for years and plan to continue doing so. They taste like I spent a lot of time peeling, cutting ang cooking fresh potatoes, then mashing them. With this product all I have to do is boil water, add milk, butter and Idahoan Potato Flakes and stir.
