I have used this for many years for everything. From my great grandmother's old fudge recipe to basic chocolate chip cookies it is. In the past, I have tried other brands, and store brands the quality is just not the same. Now, this is the only brand I use.

Instead of telling us how too cook and to that we can expect an email f rom you, please tell us WHY in the world you would change your chips. They WILL NOT MELT! It is not just one or two complaining, it is a LOT of customers that have been cooking with your product for decades. Please explain to everyone what you changed, why you changed it and when are you going to correct it?

For years my family has used your semi sweet chocolate chips for recipes during the holidays and throughout the year. Never had an issue, always coming out perfect. This year however, when making toffee, the chocolate wouldn't melt or spread. We tried multiple times, thinking it had to be the oven, but all 6 batches came out ruined. What a disappointment and shame that this chocolate chip recipe seems to have changed. Will be looking for a new chocolate for future.

I always preferred Toll House chocolate chips and would buy them when visiting the USA because they weren't available where I come from. Not anymore, they don't handle the same way and I'm allergic to them now because soy is added. Soy is the close relative as a peanut so would they add peanut to their chocolate? I don't think so. Most people allergic to peanut are allergic to soy also so why add it? And it gives it a different texture, harder to melt. I won't be searching out Toll House anymore.

My husband is on a reduced fat diet. I have a special recipe for chocolate chip cookies that is low in fat. I have tried other chocolate chips but Toll House Chocolate chips tastes the best. Their taste is the best and only slightly melt - just the way we like it!

I eat and use semi sweet or dark chocolate to make delicious dipped fruit, cookies and other yummy treats. This was the worst experience ever! The morsels don't really melt they get kind of creamy. WRONG!! Then in order to dip the accouchements you have to move at the speed of light. SO WRONG AND NEVER AGAIN!!! P.S. Maybe if you use more cocoa and less sugar you will have a better product! #teamghirardelli

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. Noticeable difference in taste and quality from other brands. I always get the best results when I use Nestle Toll House chocolate chips, the perfect chocolate chips to use for chocolate chip cookies.

This product was provided for free and this review is my own opinion. Generally I liked the product but did not find is has rich and complex as its bittersweet counterpart. Though it does seem like a reliable and consistent product that would work in recipes where you might a more delicate chocolate presence. Overall, it was certainly an acceptable choice.

Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate morsels are so delicious, decadent, and versatile. They are perfect in baked goods, in pancakes/ waffles, and for snacking. They have a classic, consistent flavor; this is my go to baking morsel.
