always fresh taste

My husband loves these but they are always ready to expire when I go to buy them at Sam's. I sometimes order online but stopped ordering these because we got two boxes that were expired over a month. Sam's needs to check dates.

I’ve purchased this item a few times now and each time they have been stale and the taste is just off. I suppose I hoped that it was a one time thing but no. Every single time.

Very dry and hard. I like to peel the casing off before enjoying and it normally comes off on the fresh ones. This box was in date but just wasn't fresh nor any good.

Slim Jim is one of my favorite snacks. I could snack on them all day. Mine arrived fresh with a goodvexpiration date. Box slightly bent and opened just a little but all 24 slim jims were there intact. Sadly it only lasted a few days at my house! I ate 'em all!

I always keep these in stock at my house. Always. All my kids love them (ages 3-11) and their friends. I’ve brought them to school for the class snack and they are awesome after school or on the go. I used to get the mild but they are more expensive and I realized none of my kids think these are too spicy at all. Sams Club has the best price on them too!!

This is a very good spicy piece of beef jerky. I have ordered it several times from different vendors. However, this the last time, because it is impossible to open. even though it’s supposedly has a tear strip, tear strip never works. You’ll be forced to use a scissors, razor blade, a hacksaw, a razor knife, dissolve the rapper and the acid or other alternatives. Good product impossible packaging

Purchased this to wrap up for my daughter’s birthday in March, she loves slim Jim’s and thought this would give us a good laugh but yet make her happy. Four stars only given because when delivered, the box had been completely opened. All 24 slim Jim were there but makes me concerned about tampering.

Used to prefer Slim Jim over other similar snacks for the surface texture it sort of snapped when bitten. I don't know what material is now being used for the outside wrapper but I had to strip the outside off. It was totally inedible. If I did chew, i could chew 'forever' and end up with a wad of stuff to discard anyway.

Doesn’t taste as good as the monster slim Jim’s
