I have been a proud consumer of all Ziploc Products for many years. Lately I have noticed that the zippers on their sandwich bags does not zip as easily as before. I never write bad reviews and this is not written with any haste. I a very disappointed in the quality of the sandwich bags.

I've been using Ziploc forever. Lately, I suspect they're having a quality control problem with the sandwich bags. They seal fine but sometimes the green part rips away from the zipper. It happened many times with a previous box but I thought, oh well. Someone was sleeping on the job. Now my second box of sandwich bags is doing the same thing. The picture I've included shows not only only the green part pulling away, but the bag pulled away from the zipper. (When it fails, it's usually just the green part and not the bag.) Now I'm frustrated.

I've been buying brand for years and will continue to do so. We use the gallon, quart, sandwich and snack sizes. Those sizes fit our storage needs perfectly - not only for foods, but for other things like office supplies (paper clips, rubber bands) to kids items (crayons, Lego pieces). We like the easy close feature of the bags, as well as the durability of the bags.

I submitted this review as part of a free sample program. I've used many brands of plastic bags to make lunches and snacks more portable. Most do the trick without trouble. This one was much the same in that respect. It will hold dry products very well. I decided to fill it with water even though I'm not likely to ever use it for the purpose of carrying liquid. I filled the bag half full with water and turned it upside down. The seal held just fine even when I squeezed the bag. There was a little bit of leaking but, again, I nor anyone else would use this product to carry pure liquids. Even being held upside down and with squeezing there were only a few little drops of water that came through. That's impressive. I like the feel of the green mesh section and the dots when sealing the bag. The seal lines up well and does what it's supposed to. I've dealt with plenty of other brands where you have to finagle the seal to get it to line up.

I thought that the embedded markings on the bag made it much easier to open and close the baggy. I thought that even if you have wet or slipper hands the embedded dots help grasp the bag very easily.

The grip n seal technology make it easy to make sure the bag is completely closed and no air will get in. I will definitely repurchase these zip lock bags in the future.

The box was a little tough to open even with the perforated opening, and the special place that says open here. I have arthritis and it was only a little tough to open. The bags themselves are sturdy, easy to seal and open/close. I used my bags as Valentine's Day gift bags for clients. Even riding in a car all day, they did not open. This is a win for me. I submitted this review as part of a free sample program. Packaging was great and it didn't show signs of damage. The bags felt thin but from tugging at it, it took awhile to be ripped. It's easy to open and close zip. The size looks okay for a regular sandwich.

These bags are so horrible I hope your company goes out of business... they don't stay closed and there is no reason to even use a bag.. should just throw carrots into lunch box and chase them around on the bottom.. as for anything else same thing. Everything mixes together in your stomach once you eat it. So must be what they are thinking when they made these bags.. save your money and just throw all your food in your lunch box let it all mix together and just wash your lunch box every night cause we all need more things to do in the evening once we are off work...but hey they are saving money and making a cheaper product while big wigs in ziplocks company who never use the bags don't care because let's face it when you make big bucks your not packing anything. who cares. Another great decision by upper management in America

I too have been using Ziploc sandwich bags for years and years! I am totally dissatisfied with the last couple of boxes I've bought. I can hardly make the seal close. And if I have to open them, the zipper is ruined so you can't reuse it. Please make them like you used to!!!
