I specifically use these for cheese. I buy big blocks of cheese, cut them into smaller pieces and put the pieces into sandwich bags then put the bags into a freezer bag and put it in the freezer. Then when I need a smaller piece just get that amount out of the freezer. Works great.

I shop at Sam's for good prices on items that I use often or that are unique or particularly tasty, such as cases of drinking water, other bottled drinks, romaine 6-pack, pre-cooked bacon, Natural Bliss creamer, nuts, tiramisu, Charmin, Bounty, frozen mahi mahi, ground beef, Just Bare Chicken, plastic wrap for food, and of course, rotisserie chicken. As for Ziploc Bags, this is a 4 pack of boxes which is a better price than grocery stores without having to wait for a BOGO sale. When you go to Sam's, know your prices from other stores. Not everything is a better deal at Sam's. But they have some wonderful unique items and many seasonal holiday items that are also often a good price. I recommend you set up Scan n Go and avoid checkout lines, although self-checkout is pretty speedy if you are physically able to do your own checkout.

I bought this 4 pack of 145 bags per box and every day I try to pack sandwiches, it is nearly impossible to close the zipper. The quality is about equal to the dollar store sandwich bags - which are also nearly impossible to close. Previous 500 packs has much better quality - easy to close. Stay Away From These.

Very easy to use

I use more sandwich size plastic bags more than any other size, just not for sandwiches. They are so handy for refrigerating onions, mini carrots, celery sticks to name a few uses. At any rate, 580 Ziploc bags for $12.48 is a good deal, but I was pleased to stock up during December Instant Savings with $3.00 off that price! HEY! I love Sam’s Club!!
