I submitted this review as part of a free sample program. Personally, I really liked the EasyGuide texture that was on this Ziploc bag. It made it easy to feel where the bag needed to be closed. I've never used the grip and seal bags before and I have to say I really liked these. It made it really easy to open the bag even for my daughter's little fingers.

Ziploc bags are our go to! As a mom of 3 young children it's a must for snack bags or to put left over chips/pretzels etc! They are easy for my 6 year old son to open while at school but they seal and are pretty much leak proof. I always buy all different sizes, front the smallest (good for loose batteries/screws), all the way to the largest (to freeze meats and for marinading).

I bought these to try, because I was looking for a brand that was very secure and would hold all of my food. I also like to use these to hold certain things when I travel. These are the perfect size for almost anything. I love how well they stay closed and how easy they are to close. I have never had one leak or puncture. I find them affordable especially for the quality and the food doesn't have a gross plastic taste from being in it.

The OG for a reason! Ziploc brand bags and products have never let me down. They are produced well, hold up to daily life, and seals well. They continue to remain affordable and readily available. I would definitely recommend them for food and household storage needs.

The Whole Easy Open Tabs Line is Awful! I have tried all of the new products and I can not say enough that these new products are a failure. They may be easy to open...but a pain to close. When you take one out of the box to use, the act of pulling open the bag at the tabs destroys the side seams of each bag. I ruined 5 of them right off the bat. If your lucky enough to get one open with out destroying it, you can play around with frustration to try to close it up. Awful! I just assume by store brand. :(

These bags are from a very well known brand and are worth the price. They are very strong and durable so they should tear, and they should hold heavier products. I like that the zip seal that is created when you choose the bag is strong so you shouldn't have to worry about it coming open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use these all the time for all types of food like cookies, cakes, pastas, meats, etc it's never torn on us and much thicker than most non name brands. I highly recommend it especially for those with kids since snacks are always being placed in these.

Whatever you did to the sandwich bags is NOT an improvement. The zipper tabs are fine, but the rest of the bag sucks. The sides stick together when first opened and I have to stick my hand in there to separate them before I can put food in. The previous bags worked much better. You should pay attention to the slogan: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I used to use and recommend ZipLocs all the time - not any more :(
